   What a beautiful place in a beautiful setting. All the staff are lovely and answered all questions about the place. Will definitely go back for dinner. I took my mum for afternoon tea. Excellent

   Lovely meal with hubby. Service was excellent and I have found the perfect non-alcoholic sparkling wine. Zeno. Just amazing xx

   A Birthday surprise lunch with some friends, and the whole experience was excellent. It was very busy, but everyone in the team was cheerful, and charming An added bonus was watching the chefs carve and plate up the never ending stream of orders - wow! Well done Number Nine - we will be back! Ps your new extension is breathtaking!

   Our first visit but it will not be our last, it was an exceptional experience. My only criticism , being a pudding fan, was the limited choice of desserts.

   Our first visit to this amazing hidden gem of a restaurant just outside Minster. A lovely venue with a great atmosphere, wonderful friendly attentive staff and very tasty well presented food. Plus an added bonus that it allows dogs, so our pet pooch was made to feel at home. We will be back for more and will recommend to others.

   Gorgeous food in a lovely setting at number 9. The new glasshouse courtyard is an impressive oak and glass structure to give all weather and all year round usage of the space (we did love the old space last summer for BBQ menu but this moves everything forwards - hope BBQ can be re-sited somewhere in the future ). It was just the right temperature for us in the glasshouse. We loved the styling and oak tables. Also, we are big fans of the small and large plate concept and this continues ; the food was excellent quality and well-crafted with something for all tastes. The head front of house was charming and funny as always, despite it being a very very busy Mothering Sunday. We will definitely be back.

    Lovely venue, lovely food and an enjoyable Mother's Day lunch. Staff did seem young/new and some were very unsure or nervous. Service was also slow for food. Food was delicious, good value as well we were very full after 2 courses. Would recommend
