Service 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Drinks 10/10 The Gumbo 2/10….way too thick and needed salt and heat. I’ll go back but no more gumbo

Had the pleasure of sitting at the bar for the New Year’s party and was not disappointed. We tried everything. I mean everything. I am craving the hummus still. Great family restaurant owned but some pretty good folks trying to do something great for their community and the dedication shows. Thank you for the amazing night and chef, thank you for filling us up! You nailed it.

We love Native Son! We have been several times since they opened and are very pleased with the consistency of great food, excellent service and the overall vibe. You won’t be disappointed, just go!

Native Son has no peer in Canton, Texas. It rivals the top restaurants in the Metroplex but preserves the hometown feel we who live in East Texas love.
