Excellent vegan soup of the day. Terrific bread and potato croquette appetizers. Really good and inventive mocktail. Tremendous service; always felt well taken care of. Entree was just OK, but I just think not the best choice. Pizza looked very good; would certainly try that or an Italian specialty next time.

This new spot is AMAZING. I came in for solo drinks and quickly got to chatting with the GM, Vincent. There I had the best espresso martini I have ever had. I couldn’t stop raving about it and that’s when I decided that I needed to try the food even though I had come from lunch. I just knew this place was something special. The tuna dish was both refreshing and outstanding. Vincent kindly sent me the Potato Croquettes and I fell in love! The dish screamed homemade with love and the truffle dipping sauce was like the nectar of the gods! I decided then and there that I had to bring my picky family in to eat. A few days later we all sat down for the ultimate test. My Grandmother. She lovingly states that she always orders the Branzino at new Italian spots and if she doesn’t like it, she will never go back (Sicilian through and through). When the chef came over she couldn’t stop complimenting the dish! She even asked me specifically to add to my review that it was the best Branzino she has ever had in the entire United States! The biggest compliment from a classically trained culinary artist. The chef, Marco, remembered me from a few days prior and truly topped off our 6 person meal with his amazing cooking and kindness. My family has never felt so special. This restaurant is going places and what a joy and honor it was to get to know the food and the people. It was my last stop before flying home. I dined here 3 times on a 6 day trip and was overwhelmed by each new drink and dish I tried. I came for the drinks, stayed for the food and came back for the hospitality. Best to our servers as well as the wonderful and kind GM and Chef. Thank you kindly for making this trip so memorable and I look forward to coming back next year. In conclusion, you would be crazy to miss the opportunity to eat here!!

Great service. Polite and attentive staff. Food was mediocre at best. Seemed like the chef was experimenting with ingredients without tasting the results. Unfortunately would not recommend based on food and value.

First time dining here and it was delicious. Loved the polo appetizer, and the pizzas are wonderfully balanced with hearty toppings and a light crust. Will be back!

Service was hospitable and responsive (Xavier was our server and was wonderful). Food was excellent - all of the pizzas we got were GREAT. They have a very nice wine list (especially with reasonably priced Italians). We ate outside on the street - great energy. We really enjoyed our experience - highly recommended.

Very authentic italian fare and experience. Every waiter we heard (2 of them), had an italian accent and two tables eating next to us were Italians and speaking with the waiters in italian. Thats a good sign. Service was excellent and European in style. Waiter did have a lot of tables in the patio to cover but still handled it and service was a bit slow but that is ok as it's such a normal thing in Italy. Food came out from the kitchen pretty fast which is good. plenty of food runners and table water fills and cleaning. And as in true italian good style, leftovers are boxed at your table by the waiter. Not giving you an empty box to fill or taking the plate away to the kitchen. This is how it should be. Lasagna was one of the best true italian style ones I've ever had and I eat a LOT of Lasagna. It was very rich with a lot of these and bechemal. The meat sauce was excellent and my only criticism was that it could have used more meat in it. But dont get me wrong. this was a stellar dish. The gnocchi dish was also outstanding. The gnocchi were super light and pillowy which is how they should be and many places dont do that. The unique sauce of pesto and other ingredients complemented the dish perfectly. The croquettes were also great. Lightly fried with an excellent flavor and the creamy truffle sauce for dipping really made it special. Fried Brussels were also very well done. As was the tiraamisu desert. Light and airy with a great coffee flavor. Not overdone with the booze. And another plus. None of the dishes were overly salted. They were nicely balanced. So many places are overselling food today. Patio dining is great with plenty of umbrellas and heaters. Beware they do allow dogs on the patio if you are not a fan of that. I think people should leave their dogs at home. they are a hazard to the wait staff who have to step around them with plates of food. An accident waiting to happen. We will return.

Good martinis and wine, overcooked pasta with marinara sauce that seemed like it came out of a jar. Service was friendly but slow. Our first experience at Nardo several weeks ago was enjoyable with good food and service. This time was disappointing.
