    We decided to check this out for our weekly date night. The atmosphere and service was excellent and we chose the Christmas Banquet. As we had chose the banquet the food all came our quickly and we were in and out in under an hour. We were hoping for somewhere where we could enjoy the atmosphere and enjoy a few cocktails. If you are after something fast, then this is the place, however if you are wanting to sit and enjoy the atmosphere and chat, there may be better options.

    This was our second visit to Mr Vain this year! Love the vibe in this restaurant: super-friendly waitstaff, comfortable private seating, cool music and ---the food, superb! The menu and the chefs have changed since we last visited in April 2024. But the memorable fact about the food continues-----it is unusual and interesting in the style of its sauces and presentation. There's often a touch of heat in the sauce or topping, but it is always subtle. Nothing here is overwhelming. Food presented with dignity. My partner (the meat-eater) had the pork gyoza and the szechuan lamb ribs, plus the whipped kingfish "donut". I had a bit of the kingfish donut; it was heavenly! I chose yellowfin tuna sashimi, and charred octopus. This suited me perfectly for this particular evening, as I was not very hungry. Would have loved to order the potato/feta gyoza or the whipped kingfish donut, though! A special mention about the outstanding service at this venue........very helpful, friendly, but not too intrusive! The only down side was that there was no Sauvignon Blanc on the Wine Menu. I had heard that the Wine List was extensive, but----hmmm!

    Last night, I took my girlfriend to Mr Vein, where I asked her to officially be my girlfriend. I brought flowers, and the staff were incredibly supportive, welcoming the gesture with big smiles. They were super friendly and even took some great photos for us. It was a special night made even better by the amazing atmosphere and excellent service. Highly recommend!

    Went to Mr Vain for my birthday dinner. The atmosphere was amazing and the services was perfect from the second we walked in. We ordered the banquet and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend visiting !
