Mozambique blends exotic adventure with warm hospitality, offering a menu rich with South African influences, including signature Peri-Peri prawns, wood-fired steaks, and flavorful curries. The three-story venue boasts stunning ocean views from its Veranda rooftop, elegant dining in the Durban Room, a lively music scene in the newly renovated Ivan’z House (formerly the Shebeen, updated in July 2024), and a serene garden patio.
Reservations will guarantee a table in our restaurant, but seating area is subject to availability. Please expect an additional wait for Rooftop Seating, Live Music, and other high demand areas. To book a Private Event or a specific table, a deposit will be required in addition to a food and beverage minimum, please contact our events coordinator at 949.715.7107 for pricing.

Complimentary Transportation available! 5pm and later, within Laguna Beach or a 5-10 mile radius depending on group size). For customers w/ dinner reservations only - call to schedule.

    We came for the music. We were big fans of Skyloft. First time at Mozambique. My husband said it was the best filet mignon he’s had in a long time! I just had a couple of sides and they were delicious. Not used to paying a cover charge, paying valet parking and tipping the band though… Makes for an expensive evening which means we can’t come as often as we’d like.

    We came for a birthday celebration at sunset it was a Perfect night a little chill but the heaters were turned on as soon as it got cool. Happy hour was good I had one lobster with rice and vegetable’s really good, great price $19.00 The Perry Perry shrimp is always good they brought our birthday girl a bread pudding desert that was very nice. This is one of our favorite local spots

    This restaurant has been around for a reason and will stay around for a while too. The Food menu, cocktails and wines are exceptional.. Every time we go is always great. Keep it up Mozambique..

    The service was exceptional. Jorge did an amazing job at making the birthday celebration special and was very attentive to our needs. My dad raved about the pork chop and my filet was excellent. The cocktails were well done, love the martini glasses they use, spacious and stable.

    Booked a table for 8 for New Year’s Eve and the staff is very friendly in accommodations I asked for regarding seating. They have valet and roof top seating is a must here if you can and they aren’t too busy. The food is excellent and didn’t have any issues with get what we ordered. Will be back again. If you want great food at fair prices this is your spot. Only disappointed was pudding was as described,it’s more of a muffin but overall very good.

    The food was incredible, the service was great, and it was a fantastic way to spend Christmas Eve. We had everything from the lobster Mac and cheese to the burger and steak, and even the charcuterie board. And guess what? Our two kids loved it too! Thank you, Mozambique, for being open on Christmas Eve!
