   I went for my daughter’s birthday expecting a quiet evening, but unfortunately there was a private party of rowdy people who thought they were at a nightclub. Ruined the ambiance and environment we were expecting.

   Short and to the point. 1. Lobster bisque soup had small piece of shell on lobster, soup was cool and barely warm. I did mention issues and was unexpectedly not charged for it. Thank you to our tentative waitress, Jenelle. 2. Cajun ribeye was tough, expected much better quality. 3. My daughter’s Chicken Christopher was in her words “very gross and wet on the bottom.” She did eat it as i told her it was the juices?? 4. Truffle fries came several minutes after main entrees. 5. The chocolate cake dessert was absolutely fabulous. No issue at all with the cake and ice cream. DELICIOUS! Overall i was not impressed as this was our first time at Mortons. Been to others in their group and was disappointed with Mortons. Jenelle was a very good and tentative waitress. She checked on us multiple times. I only indicated an issue with the soup as this was brought first. I did not want to keep complaining and be one of those people. I was NOT there for a free meal or free soup. I was there for the expected quality that fell short of expectations.

   The food and service is always exceptional at Morton’s. Matthew Parrott went above and beyond to make our dining experience one of the best! Additionally he helped me out as I forgot to give the server my Landry’s select number so when I called after I left Matthew added those points to my account. It was a wonderful experience dining at Morton’s once again!

   My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Morton’s. We could not have made a better decision. The hostess greeted us with a “Happy Anniversary” as did our Waiter Dan. The service we received from Dan was nothing short of terrific. He answered the few questions we had with the menu and gave us some great suggestions and couldn’t have been more friendly. As for the meal we shared the Chopped House salad, which was plenty, shared the “For the Table“ Tomahawk Ribeye, and AuGratin potatoes. Everything was delicious and steak cooked to a perfect medium rare. They then provided a complementary dessert of our choosing. Thank You to Morton’s for helping us celebrate our Anniversary!!

    We were a party of 7 celebrating Mother's Day, a graduation from SVSU, a birthday and a 53rd anniversary! service was excellent -- we had several rounds of drinks, always correct. The food at Morton's is always outstanding - our experience at several different locations is always very good, this location is no exception! Our server Mirna was very patient with some members of our party who challenged with what to order (too many good choices) - she gets a 5 star rating from us. I had an opportunity to interact with the GM and I was very impressed with how he handled my question and helped me. Bottom line - while some might think Morton's is pricey, our family's experience is that you get what you pay for - great food, great service -- its good price/value!
