   I was celebrating my 50th Birthday and it was my first time. It was absolutely amazing!!! Can’t wait to return!!!!

   The food was excellent. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sides awesome. We got the tomahawk for two along with the green beans and cheese potatoes. Service was slow but very polite and professional. The restaurant did not enforce the dress code. We saw multiple people in hats and hooded sweatshirts with offensive graphics. The restaurant was very loud and full of loud mouthed people yelling with no respect to others. This was for my wife’s birthday and even though the food was great we could not enjoy our meal due to how loud the table behind us was.

   Food was good not great. Service was average. Will check out another steakhouse before returning back. Ordered the crab cake, Caesar salad, French onion soup, 16 oz Ribeye medium rare with truffle butter, and the lobster tail.

   This was our first time here. We came for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was so lovely. We couldn’t have asked for anything more! We will definitely be returning!

   Service was a little slow. Food was OK about as expected. Add some crunch to the Filet Mignon sliders. How a Prosciutto and Mozzarella app is tough to cut, I have no idea. The drinks were good thougj.

   The experience of Morton’s is always amazing. The service is impeccable and the food is top tier. The only true complaint I have about Morton’s is their marked up wine prices. We bought a bottle of wine for 50 dollars but upon looking it up, the same bottle is only 10-13 dollars as your retail stores. I’m pretty sure you can bring your own wine and champagne with a preapproval from the restaurant- That is what I recommend. Overall, great experience every time.

   Sophia was our server and she was amazing. Wife’s dirty martini was sub par. The old fashioned was great. I had the lobster bisque and Caesar to start off. My family has the Swingos recipe from the days of the silver quill. This Caesar was ordinary in comparison. My bisque was barely warm, but was delicious. Wife had the scallops and they were a highlight. The bread and butter were also very good. I ordered the filet and lobster. My lobster was perfect! My filet was over-cooked. I ordered medium and received it well-done. All of our steaks were over-cooked. The chef station had piles of steaks in baggies in plain sight. I am assuming Sous Vide. My wife’s sea bass did not have a char to it. Sadly, it fell short of even chain restaurants in comparison. (Bonefish and Hyde Park both ranked higher). In addition, there was uncomfortable chatter between the chef in the kitchen and the manager/chef on the floor that should have occurred behind closed doors. Our bill was 252 (Wife and I) I tipped 60. Our server made the experience worthwhile this Valentine’s Day. We are no stranger to fine dining. I haven’t been to Morton’s in years. My last visit was much better than this one. I’m not sure we will return as we have had better experiences at similar price points elsewhere.

   Decor is outdated. I felt like I was in a "90's Las Vegas Hotel. Also the restaurant wasn't clean as can be. Carpet is stained in certain places and when our table was moved it was obvious no vacuuming occurred that day. Waitress and staff was nice, attentive and friendly. Our steak came out undercooked but had a burnt exterior. Au gratin potatoes were bland and burnt throughout. For this to be a 5 star restaurant, I feel there is better options with tastier food and modern decor.
