Moro and Morito chef proprietors, Sam & Sam Clark, opened their third restaurant, located at 195 Hackney Road in 2016.

Morito Hackney Road's Head Chef, Sevan Tchivitdji, draws influences from Southern Spain, North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean.

Morito has a concise offering of wines from the Mediterranean - primarily mainland Spain and Portugal - with a couple of lesser-known wines from the Canary Islands.                                       The food was disappointing. The Boquerones were chewy. The Grilled Chorizo was burnt. The Labneh lumpy. The bread was odd…. There was some limp flat bread. Then some Focaccia type bread. The only good thing was the Deep Fried Cheese with honey…. A shame as I had been wanting to go here for sometime. Apparently, it used to be good. Seems like like I missed it when it was

                                      Morito seldom disappoints, and our family lunch on Sunday was no exception. Fantastic service, great food and lovely ambience. We'll be back (of course).

                                      I visited the restaurant for my birthday and had a lovely evening. The food was delicious and service was great. I would really recommend the restaurant for an intimate dinner.

                                      Great place to go with a big group! Lovely wines and cocktails - house wine delicious and affordable. Amazing food and servers - the labneh, aubergine and lamb chops in particular were 10/10 but everything we had was fabulous. The olive oil chocolate mousse was also the perfect if you have any room left :)
