   Oysters amazing, all plates excellent, 1/2 pizza board instead of bread at beginning as you sit a nice touch, service polite, upbeat and prompt. Good value for price paid. The shift in music, beat and volume at 9 pm adds a nice supper-club vibe.

   The menu had a lot of things to choose from and the dinners we chose were outstanding. The service was fair as they took our initial drink order and never return to offer or get refills. The next time we saw them was to clear our dinner plates and bring us a check.

   We had a great time and the food and cocktails were good. I removed a star on service because our server removed the appetizers before we were done. There were some left in the plate we were sharing , we all had some left in our individual plates, and she took it away without asking if we were done. So we couldn't use the dipping sauce to finish the appetizers ( calamaris) we had on our plates. That was definitely a mistake. but an annoying one you do not expect at this type of restaurant. Otherwise all was great.

   Always a favourite place to dine when we are in Montreal. This was our best time yet. The server was above and beyond helpful and pleasant. We received great wine recommendations from the owner and the food is always top notch! Thanks for making the evening so special for us.

    We had the truffle mac and cheese, margherita pizza, and burrata app and it was all satisfying (good but not amazing). The real let-down was the service - it was not a very busy night and we had to wait long periods before they would come to take our order/offer the checks/etc. When they did come, the two servers we interacted with were condescending and it felt like it was a chore for them to talk to us. That being said, the busboys who brought our food/re-filled the water/etc. seemed much happier to be there. It was a fine experience but definitely not anything worth writing home about.
