   One of the best dining experiences Ive ever had. And Im a critic. Food was AMAZING, service EVEN BETTER. Definitely a must when looking for an amazing place to eat and drink.

   I have dined at momotaro a few times over the last few years, but this last experience was definitely the worst. We were celebrating a birthday and had selected main dining room standard seating. Upon arrival, they seated us at the sushi bar next to the bathroom and server station. We had customers and staff bumping into us all night, on top of a very cramped area to set our plates on. We ordered a bottle of wine, but our wine glasses sat empty the majority of the night, as the servers need to refill it for you. We ended up leaving half the bottle, as we were done with our meal and couldn’t seem to get more wine. Additionally, before we were done eating, our server presented us with the dessert menu. This was only an hour after being there, so we felt incredibly rushed. It was a birthday and we were not presented with any dessert, nor offered the dessert menu once we were actually done eating. Overall, very disappointed with this experience, especially for the price point. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back.

   I absolutely love this place - it’s one of my favs in the city. The food and staff is INCREDIBLE! A friend and I were celebrating getting into a top business school, and the staff went out their way to congratulate us. We got custom congratulations menus, a complimentary glass of champagne, and many congrats from the staff! Everything is shareable for the most part, except for the spaghetti! Order for yourself lol it’s just that good.

   The food was cold and uninteresting. The rice in particular was inedible and the chicken was cold and tough. Not a great experience. We will not be going back.

   The service was amazing. Our waitress without asking gave us the vegetarian menu. The food was delicious and we will be back!

    Food and service outstanding as well as relative value for what you are getting, it is unfortunate that the overall experience really depends on who they seat you next to. The seating isn’t remotely private and others seem to enjoy making their business yours. We tried not to let that damper our anniversary celebration.
