   First visit and loved everything about this Gem! As a retired restaurant owner, I tend to look at the restaurant as a complete package. This checks all the boxes on what makes a great restaurant! Service was spot on. Our meals were recommended by our server and the manager who stopped by to greet us. We enjoyed the chicken milanese and the shortrib risotto. Both were exceptional. Our daughter had kids mac n cheese with fresh cut fries. We both tried it. Not your typical kids' fare. It was wonderful. The atmosphere was great. Lighting was very unique and beautiful. Great energy. We don't get to this area much but would dine here often if we lived closer!

   I have been to Modern Plate a handful of times and have always had a great experience. The food and cocktails are solid- from the short rib risotto, skirt steak, fish and pasta. Once, I didn’t care for the cocktail I ordered and they were quick to offer a replacement. The owner/manager has come to our table to check on us each time we’ve dined there. They also have a nice venue in the back that I’ve visited to watch a few cover bands.

   Sat at the bar with Chris as our bartender. She was delightful!. Food was fantastic. The blue cheese dressing is unbelievable. And 1/2 price bottles of wine on Tuesdays!

   The short rib risotto was delicious, and the price was very reasonable. Excellent whiskey and wine lists, too. Loved how we could enjoy the live entertainment next door, too!

    The noise level was so loud that we couldn’t have a normal conversation. The food and service was great. We will go back, but only for lunch or when we can dine outdoors.
