   First off the service and staff were excellent, engaging and funny . The different types of dishes to pick from were huge . We would order everything we had again .

   Love the ambiance and concept of this place. But the food is all so heavy, would love to see some lighter / veg based tapas on the menu.

   Great restaurant. Quality food, great service and great atmosphere. Brought our kids to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make it stress free. Beautiful place to eat and great staff.

   This place is a real gem. Excellent quality food served by magnificent highly trained staff. The value for money on offer at Mimosa is genuinely second to none; both for food and drink. This is, without doubt, our favourite restaurant for miles and should be on your list whenever you're anywhere near Carlow.

   It was my partners birthday I had asked for something a small desert and to sing happy birthday but they must of forgot I was disappointed

   Sorry we didn’t sing happy birthday to your partner - we were extremely busy yesterday & short staffed so apologies on missing that but to review a restaurant on not singing Happy Birthday is a little jarring - we work extremely hard to produce the best experience for all our guests but are not perfect & would have appreciated you reminding us before you left rather than going home unhappy and writing a review based on not singing rather than the food ! -
