The foundation of good Italian cooking is the freshest of ingredients prepared with simplicity, bringing together flavors so no one ingredient overpowers another. Mimmo’s Italian roots begin in his hometown of Bagheria, Sicily. The fresh fruits and vegetables picked from his family’s farm were on the table, or tavola, that night. Our logo of the lemon and lemon flower, or zagara, is a symbol of Sicily’s rich history of growing and exporting lemons, and a reminder of Mimmo’s many memories of lemon picking in his grandfather’s groves. APRIL 30TH 2012 WAS OUR OPENING DAY.

From the bread and oil to the last bite of my meal everything was absolutely delicious. My wife loved her lasagna and I scraped out every bit I could of my meatballs and spaghetti!

I wanted to like the place. They were nice and welcoming. Varied menu at a reasonable price. Good drink selection, including beer on draft. Unfortunately, the chicken I ordered was raw, and I did not quite notice until I'd had several bites since sauce covered the serving. The manager came over and apologized but seemed to imply I should have noticed it right away. They took this item off the bill but raw chicken is just an absolute deal-breaker. The salad was good. Gnocchi was somewhat doughy and heavy.

My veal marsala was just ok, not real render or flavorful. My husband's Oso Bucco was very good. Very good service.

We are locals and visited this Italian restaurant for the second time. We went with two couples. All six of us were pleased with the service and entrees. I enjoyed the tomahawk pork chop. Prepared perfectly and served with a delicious chutney sauce. We will return for another enjoyable evening.
