   The renovations have been beautifully done, the service from Alida was amazing, and the food was top notch. Was pleasantly surprised. Will definitely return!

   We often chose to meet friends and eat at Milestones. Unfortunately today the music was too loud to have any sort of conversation at our table for four. We asked if the music could be turned down and the staff said she had to check with her Manager, we encouraged her to check…. as far as we could tell the volume did not decrease. We asked again and although our waiter said he would turn it down - again nothing happened. Shouting to try to make yourself heard is not fun and it made our experience at Milestones stressful and unenjoyable. We doubt we will be returning anytime soon.

   Our table was at the back wall! It was cold, and too dark! Food was not hot upon arrival and the menu keeps changing. We weren’t fond of the renovation. It was so much more comfortable before. Not to mention the ambiance was way better too. More privacy to connect and visit with your own table rather than every other table around you!

   New Reno’s look nice. Food was pretty good, standard contemporary. I had the sweet chilli chicken bowl, it had a nice kick to it. Our server was very friendly and nice! Unfortunately, the restaurant was freezing cold with the cold weather outside. My party was seated kind of close to where the door was opening and closing so I asked the host if we could slide down to the 8 top beside us as my aunt was freezing cold. We were also seated at an 8 top so I didn’t see there being an issue. The host said the issue would be with server as the other table wasn’t in her section. I assured her that we had only ordered 2 glasses of wine at that point and it shouldn’t be a problem. She said she would have to see what she could do… she was very unhelpful and didn’t seem to care about customer satisfaction. Instead I asked the server to send the manager over and he promptly allowed us to move tables so that was appreciated.

   Our server was great, food was delicious, it was nice having a vegan choice for some of our group. Good variety of food.

   Newly renovated and much less intimate. Rather like sitting in a giant concourse which amplifies sound, making it less hospitable. The booths by the windows are much more comfortable and less intrusive. Menu has changed with the decor and is OK but much less comforting. The best item ever on the menu was prime rib, which has been missing for years, and still is, but it is missing in almost all restaurants these days. Like all restaurants of this era, there is a preponderence of potatoes and rice (or equivalent). Overall it is a good family restaurant, but with few menu options for younger diners. It can be noisy and distracting for more elder diners who are there for the food and not for fraternization.

    The food was absolutely delicious but took forever to come out. As well the service was not the best. We went for my birthday and the waiter felt annoyed at this fact and didnt come back to check on us very much. When we needed something we had to flag them down which was not appreciated. The other guests were very nice and welcoming however.
