   The waiter was simply the best in my experience. She helped me choose the wine by putting on an impromptu tasting, then recommended the best salad I've ever had.

   We went for the sharers menu with an additional helping of cauliflower. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. A favourites were the starters - especially the arancini and humous and the least, the cauliflower which promised to be more flavourful than it delivered. Service was okay when we received it but Friday early evening was still very busy and not enough staff. We were asked to order drinks very soon after we arrived but in asking for an extra 5 mins to peruse the menu it took another 45 mins to order and receive them even after trying to attract the poor waiters and waitress. Not sure why alcoholic cocktails and non alcoholic mocktails are priced the same but we did take advantage of happy hour and half price drinks. We had no room for dessert but would expect them to be the same high standards as the rest of the food. Atmosphere was great and buzzing and not too loud that we couldn’t speak to each other. Would eat here again!

   The food was absolutely delicious, and there was lots of choice. The staff were lovely and didn't rush us at all. I find the Kings Cross branch of Mildred's less crowded than the others I've been to, although it's always popular.

   Reliably good food in pleasant surroundings. Our guest had not eaten in a vegan restaurant before and thought it was great!

   2nd time I've been to Mildreds now. I'm not personally vegan, but have friends who are. The food is exceptional quality and you don't leave feeling like anything was missing as a non-vegan. The arancini were honestly the best I've had anywhere (including meat ones) and I'm an arancini lover, so I've sampled many! Good ambience in the restaurant, if a little loud. My only real complaint is it's very hot in there, all 3 of us were melting. Could do with keeping it a few degrees cooler, maybe just not blasting the heaters quite so strongly, especially as people are generally wearing warmer clothes this time of year too! Overall very good experience and will definitely return

   The food was very tasty and we all enjoyed our main courses. I found the desert a little disappointing- sticky toffee pudding - the sponge texture was a bit dry. Jolly ambience but I would prefer a little more space between tables for access and also for distance to other diners. Our server was delightful, really warm, friendly and professional.

   This was the first time visiting Mildred's King's X as I usually dine at Mildred's Covent Garden. Initially, the ambience felt more industrial and less vibrant, however I quickly found that I felt at ease in the restaurant. The ambience was buzzy without being too noisy or energetic, which allowed my friend and I to have a good catch-up. The staff were friendly and relaxed. There was plenty of space for new diners so there was no need to rush us out within our 90 min booking window. The food was a delicious as ever. All in all a happy experience
