We tried to walk in on Valentin's night but was fully booked. But fortunately I tried an online booking and got a table for 2 at 21.45.. It was fantastic vegetarian food with great waitress service With wine £50 per head Excellent thank you

I’ve been going to Mildred’s for decades and I was wowed by the food last night. The service was excellent and the wine decent. It was very noisy when I arrived though and I’m glad my booking was late-ish as it became easier to talk as the night went on.

Great food, convenient location, attentive staff. Might have been nice if we had felt able to linger after our meal, because it was for a long overdue reunion, but we were aware that the table was needed. Otherwise, perfect. Thanks.

The food wasn’t as nice as it used to be. My Sri Lankan curry came in various vessels rather than as one dish. The starters were disappointing, and of inconsistent size. It also seems that the pickles dish that is offered as a starter also comes as part of the Sri Lankan ‘curry’ ensemble. Luckily I didn’t order both. It was all just a bit lacklustre, really. Not vibrancy I was expecting.

Excellent choice, especially great for our child with an allergy (milk). It was a nice set up and quick food for freshly cooked. However, service let it down with staff appearing disinterested and put out by requests. 12% service charge added was unreasonable, this was optional.

Small menu, with great food, with great flavours. The Paratha and Lemon Fries are a must. Not an intimate restaurant, but good for friends dining, especially if they are all looking for great vegan food, even if like me they are NOT vegan.
