   We had dinner at Mexican Sugar for a friend’s birthday, and the ambiance, service, food and atmosphere did not disappoint. Mari was our server and she was amazing, friendly and attentive. Thanks for a great evening!

   Beautiful environment... and loved the upper patio area. Service was fantastic and brunch food and cocktails were delicious. We'll be back!

   Really wanted to like it but the chicken fajitas were almost inedible. Dry and bland. Everything else drinks appetizer and atmosphere was great.

   Came here on a Saturday night and the vibes were great! I enjoyed our drinks. We ordered the paella and the angus skirt steak. My steak could have been cooked a little more and I wasn’t given a steak knife so it kind of took a while to eat. Regardless, the food was delicious! Will come again.

   My wife and I walked by this place a dozen times when staying downtown for events and always wanted to try it out, great location, nice outdoor seating, smells amazing. Came into town for an Easter event at The Swexan and decided to give it a shot for dinner the night before. Hostess accommodated us showing up early for our reservation and sat us outside, 4 top with a high chair. Had to ask the hostess once and server twice for the high chair, finally brought one and the straps are broken, asked for one that was not broken, and showed up at the end of the meal. Server was solid, but couldn't really make any recommendations when we asked. Ordered the Lobster Fundito and had to send it back, it was a large cold clump of cheese with 2 tiny pieces of lobster on top (we never send food back). The rice and enchilada sauce was extremely spicy, carne asada was very stringy and tough, fish was bland. If we come back, it will probably just be for drinks, they were priced right and well made.

   Service was extremely slow. Took us about 10 minutes to get greeted and another 10-15 minutes to get water, by the time we ordered drinks we had already been sitting for nearly 30 minutes. Server was nice and the drinks and appetizer we had was good, but was disappointed by the lack of urgency.
