   First timer the food was AMAZING!!!!! The service was wonderful always checking if we needed something else the vibes very chill WILL DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK!!!!

   we had a bad experience at the mexican sugar. we went in very excited for great service but we were deeply disappointed. we had a reservation but were still put in a dark corner of a restaurant with a wobbly table. we had complained and got moved to a different table. after that, the service was so bad. we were barely looked at. found it very difficult to get the attention of the waiter. we also had to wait 30 mins to ask for the cheque after finishing our food. the only bright spot was food was on the table very quickly after ordering.

   We had great time Luis was amazing and helpful so was our hostesses considering it was Mother’s Day! I just don’t understand why we had to eat a skirt steak with a plastic fork. Or any of our food for that matter. But all in all always love the food!

   It was the perfect place to spend Mother’s Day! The food came out absolutely delicious, I leave no NOTES!! Steak was nice and tender. Street corn was amazing, have yuca fries instead of regular fries… best idea!

   Location was nice and clean. Service was very slow. We had to request for refills or tea, chips and salsa. Waiter didn’t come on his own, we had to summon him over.

   The ambience is very inviting would go back for that and drinks. The brunch was just okay. I ordered the brunch tacos with barbacoa sub for the meat and it lacked flavor. Would go back and give something else a try.

   Excellent choice to spend Mother’s Day. Beautiful location for a Sunday morning. The atmosphere was on point, vibrant, colorful, and energetic. As usual, the food was delicious. The Bone-In Pork and Eggs is unrivaled. We had plenty of Vanilla Pancakes that made momma proud. The uptown location had its own vibe, unique to the area which brought an inviting experience. We’ll be back.

   I had a reservation for a party of six at the uptown location and arrived about 15 minutes early. Since three members of our group hadn’t arrived yet, we couldn’t be seated, so I waited at the bar. The female bartender was friendly, and I ordered my usual Grandioso Margarita—which I always enjoy, it’s $16. I closed out my tab right away, anticipating that my group might show up at any moment. While I was waiting and minding my business, a male bartender came over and was a little chatty. Shortly after, one of my friends arrived, and I ordered her a Hibiscus Margarita. I asked him to close out the tab again, but when the credit card terminal came out, it showed a total of $44. I explained that I had already paid for my drink, so he adjusted the bill—though even then, the final amount was around $11, which still didn’t add up. Just odd all around. Once we were seated, our experience didn’t improve much. Our server seemed rushed and disengaged. Every time we had a question or wanted to order more drinks, she walked away too quickly for us to say anything. She did let us know that the kitchen was running behind, she said: “just wanted to let you all know the kitchen is running behind so you’re going to have to wait for your food”, which wasn’t an issue for us since we weren’t in a hurry. I ordered the arepa appetizer, which came with four pieces. They were quite good, and I had only eaten two, planning to take the rest home. Unfortunately, before I could say anything, the server came by near the end of our meal and cleared the plate without asking if we were finished. Overall, I had a disappointing experience at this location. Between the billing confusion at the bar and the rushed, inattentive service at the table, it didn’t live up to the standards I expected.

    If you are looking for a romantic dinner this is NOT the place. Overall it was loud and lots of people moving around. We had a reservation but had to wait 30 minutes anyway before being seated. The music and crowd was so loud, the waitstaff could not hear us. The food was not outstanding but very overpriced for the value received. Overall we will not dine here again.
