   You can tell they’re still working out their opening kinks. But will probably get better with time. The food is typical Tex mex. The bar seems sexy but the hostesses seemed confused as to where to sit people

   Amazing time at the first floor bar and got a tour of the upstairs space as well. Everyone is so hospitable and kind, as well as knowledgeable and gave me an amazing birthday experience!

   Mexican Sugar Brunch Review 🌟 Brunch Review: Mexican Sugar 🌟 Today’s brunch was at Mexican Sugar, located off West Dallas, not far from Montrose. Here’s the scoop: 🚗 Parking: It’s a valet-only arrival ($8) or you can try your luck with street parking, which was a nice option. 🏡 Ambiance: The restaurant is beautifully lit with lovely patios. At first glance, it looks small, but there’s an upstairs and downstairs seating area. We were seated upstairs. ⏳ Seating: Our table wasn’t ready upon arrival, but after about 20 minutes, we were seated. I sipped on a Hibiscus Margarita while waiting—sweet, light, and refreshing (though not very strong). 🍹 Drinks: During the meal, I tried the Out of the Office—a tropical, piña colada-inspired drink. This one packed a bit more punch and was equally delicious. 🍴 Food: • Pork Chops & Eggs: The pork chop was juicy and flavorful. Although it initially came out well-done instead of medium-well, they quickly fixed it! • Vanilla Cinnamon Pancakes: Simply amazing. Delectable and packed with flavor. 👎 Service: Our server was new and struggled with managing a table of 12. It took a while to order our food (about an 20 mins I think for orders to be taken, though food arrived quickly after that). She definitely needed more training for handling larger parties. ✅ Overall: Despite the service hiccups, the food and drinks were phenomenal! I’d absolutely come back for dinner or happy hour. Highly recommend this spot for the flavorful dishes and cozy atmosphere.

   Aesthetically pleasing. Ambiance seemed good. Food was not. Lacked taste, and was not what I thought. I would try again, but definitely not vegetarian enchiladas.

   Wow! What an amazing experience! The food was delicious. You must try their Pork Chop and the Arepas! They were so good. Don’t forget to have Churros…they are the best I’ve ever had. The service was hospitable and the atmosphere was Top Notch!!! The tequila selection was impressive!!!

   This place is beautiful. Lupita was our server and she was awesome. I had the tortilla soup which was so good. I also had the hibiscus margarita and that was delicious.

    Had a fabulous brunch at Mexican Sugar! Beautiful space. The food was delicious. And the watermelon mimosa was yummy! Alexis was our waiter, and he was awesome! Very attentive and gave great suggestions. Can’t wait to come back!
