We have been to Metro 8 several times and we always have a great experience. This time we came for New Years Eve and it did not disappoint. Food was so good and the service is always excellent.

Altogether a bit disappointing. Appetizer Tuna Tartare was excellent and so was the Choclate Torte. However, the red Pinot Noir we ordered was cold, like it came right out of the refrigerator, which made it hard to develop its flavor. My skirt steak churasco was so much permeated with gristle and fat that it was hard to eat and the sauce was too fatty. This proved also true of the side of spinach Alfredo, which was far too much Alfredo and too little spinach to my taste. Service was great though, which was why I didn't want to complain. Nevertheless a poor quality cut of meat and cold red wine did not sit well with me. I've written quite a few reviews for Open Table, but this is the first negative one.

We had a wonderful time! It was our first experience at Metro 8, and after that meal, there will definitely be others.

They did not have sufficient wait staff and seemed to be focused on the large parties and not individuals having dinner. They asked us 4 times what our reservation was listed under, almost like they didn’t want us there. Brought out food and they didn’t have the order right but no one ever asked us how our food was. Will not be going back.

Our first time visiting this venue- we celebrated a birthday and everything was spot on! Started our meal with the Chorizo app and my Husband had Fettuccine Porcini and loved it, I had the lamb chops with baked potato- cooked perfectly warm center and they were delicious. We shared the chocolate soufflé for dessert. Service was timely and gracious.
