   Excellent service and great meals. The fillet steak was flavoursome and accompanied by a generous serve of sides. The greens were superb. Make sure you book.

   We ordered some asian dishes and they were below par. If you like overly sweet sauces with no authentic flavours then you might like the Sezchuan chilli dish. The food was not hot enough as in temperature. One of us had a noodle dish which they enjoyed. The rice was not enjoyable. I have had western seafood dishes there in the past and they were ok. I would likely eat there again , but not order asian food. The staff were friendly and competent. There was little atmosphere.

   Rude waiting staff and average food. Wouldn't go back. Service sloppy and not very welcoming. We have a young family and we were 5 mins early but made us wait even though they let others through after we walked off. Made to feel like we were too much. Definitely not coming back. Food was average as well.

   Merimbula RSL in general was a nice place to dine. The restaurant staff was excellent, lovely and respectful. The starters (Springrolls, garlic bread) was delicious. Steak, roast of the day and Margherita pizza was so yum. Unfortunately the Chinese (Spicy chicken and fries rice was disgusting 🫣 (chicken used was breast and even with the sauce it was so dry - the fried rice was the worst, dry hard rice, no flavour in it not even salt) but despite that the place was beautiful and the rest of the food was amazing. Nice experience and would definitely dine there again just won't order from Chinese menu.

   Lovely meal in an area that is away from the main club area. We were lucky enough to get a window table which was nice. Good was beautiful, arrived in good time & presented nicely. The best part of this restaurant is the exceptional service. Quite different to some of the grumpy men that sit on the main reception desk.

   We returned again from the previous day with a group of six diners. Two people had the special T-bone steak and said it was excellent. Two had Chicken Kiev - also good. One had the Garlic Prawns. Unfortunately the prawns were soft and mushy, the garlic sauce was excellent. The last meal was the RSL Steak. The request was for a medium-rare steak and it came well done - very bad. The person was too embarrassed to send it back. Seems that what comes out of the kitchen is quite variable. Needs to focus on consistency.

    Three diners. Two meals were excellent but one, the Massaman Beef Curry was not good - the beef was quite tough, should have been cooked for a couple more hours, the flavour good. Can recommend the Fishermen’s Catch, so too the Pork Belly & Scollops.
