   We have been to this Meridia many times. The menu has lots of excellent options. Typically, the food is solid. For our larger party of nine, I confirmed with the reservation desk in person that we would like a specific waitress for our family's anniversary celebration in person the night before. Although it was confirmed, we were blind-sided with another server, and nobody ever mentioned it or acknowledged the anniversary note until I brought it up. That night, the food was subpar from previous experiences. In particular, the bread was cold, and yhe paella was overly burnt. Although our server was nice, the attention to care and detail was average as I had to personally get the necessary silverware to eat (after they have taken them from the first course) after several minutes of waiting. In any case, it is a restaurant worth supporting if they acknowledge their guests' requests and continue to improve their food and service without increasing their prices.

   We are full-time Big Island residents and dine at Meridia often. The food and service are always outstanding.

   Meridia is one of my favorite Big Island restaurants. The menu has creative vegetarian options, and their service is consistently wonderful. You must try the warm chocolate torta!

   We walked into the reception area and was first greeted with the sound of live piano music, followed by a warm greeting from the hostess. Our reservation was timed perfectly for sunset. Rebecca was our server and she was both professional and friendly. Everything we ordered was not just delicious but interesting and used locally sourced ingredients. We had a great experience and look forward to returning in the very near future.

   We were greeted with a warm aloha welcome! The server was friendly and attentive. The bartenders drinks were spot on for the mixes we requested. The ambience and lighting were serene. The food was just absolutely amazing. The ahi tuna entre was seared perfectly. The scallops were scrumptious. The ribeye and short ribs were cooked just right and delicious. I was surprised how well the server and chef were able to modify my entre to accommodate by dietary restrictions. Overall, it was a delightful experience again. We plan to make a reservation every time we visit the big island. Thank you!

   Even with having made reservations months in advance, notating that we were celebrating a birthday and being Marriott Ambassador level guests, we were given a table that was tucked back a bit from a view . What made this a little more disappointing is that full view tables remained open/unused for the duration our meal. Food was good but the pacing was off. We ordered 6-7 dishes and were surprised to have them ALL on our table within 5 minutes of ordering with two being lukewarm (gambas and piquillos) - how far in advanced were these prepared??? If we hadn’t ordered a second round of crudo and kebabs, we would have been done with our meal faster than a McDonalds visit.

   Our server Michael was excellent! The food was outstanding! The music and ambiance of the restaurant really made for an amazing night! One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time!

    We enjoyed a gorgeous birthday dinner at Meridia. Our, server, Michael, made m feel so celebrated. And the Bronxino was beautifully prepared, very fresh!
