    Unfortunately we Had a very disappointing dining experience, the filet mignon had no flavor and poor texture, the spinach and mushroom side dishes were completely overpowered by butter (and bad tasting butter if that’s possible?), the Caesar salad was a complete disappointment for a restaurant of this caliber. The kitchen needs to step up its game for sure. Our waiter was less than helpful as well. The wine and scallops were good though.

    Magnificent food, outstanding service, and great atmosphere! Although pricey, it's by far worth it! The best restaurant in Palm Springs! And there were 2 star sightings!

    Very good food and service. Expensive… Took a tour with the Palm Springs Historical Society that included this restaurant. Fun to go back and sit near where Fran Sinatra sat.

    Melvyn's is an excellent restaurant, and it felt like returning to vintage Palm Springs in a time capsule. The food was outstanding, and the atmosphere was classic. The service felt a bit rushed, and we even had dessert, and we were still finished in under an hour. Our waiter forgot our bread, and we were halfway through our dinner when it did show up. I would still highly recommend Melvyn's, and the next time I am in Palm Springs, we will visit again.
