Legendary Medium Rare offers a unique, prix fixe dinning experience of artisan bread; a mixed green salad; prime, dry-aged steak; and hand-cut fries (Vegetarian option always available) in a relaxed, fun, environment. Please allow us 15 minutes to seat you after your full party has arrived and after checkin at our host stand. As we do only one thing, we do our best to make the food and experience exceptional and also a good value. We also serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday's with a great prix fixe including French Toast, Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict and bottomless Bloody Marys, Mimosas and Screwdrivers. We had a great experience at the Arlington location! Service was great and the staff and Manager are very friendly. Would definitely come back and bring more friends, this will be a go to spot in the area.

This was my first time at the Virginia Square/Ballston location (I've been to Cleveland Park) and it was a letdown. The steak was well-done, and we requested medium-rare/medium. We asked for a glass of sparkling water and were given a whole bottle of San Pellegrino, which we had to pay for. It would have been nice to have been asked/told that we'd have to get a whole bottle instead of a glass. The fries tasted like the oil they were fried in, that's it.

It’s great food and a great concept. The noise level is high though and I don’t know why hard rock is the best choice for a dinner experience

The steak was delicious and well cooked. Unfortunately, our bread was too hard and the salad was overdressed. We also thought it was too loud in the restaurant and had a difficult time hearing one another. Also, their lighted sign kept flickering on and off, which was quite annoying.

Wait staff don’t mention you get two servings of the same meal. It’s rump steak sliced thin. 4 ounces maybe of steak in both servings. Salad was just lettuce and dressing. Bread service was basically croutons it’s so hard.

Medium Rare is a go-to if you’re in the DMV. We were greeted with a smile. Daniel, our server, was amazing, very fast service, and even came to fill up our wine glasses throughout our meal.
