Meat & Greet BBQ started in 2019, where initially we sold uncooked meats which had been seasoned with spice blends from all across the world. The Covid pandemic saw the business begin to grow rapidly – with us delivering our high-quality meats all around the clock, direct to customer’s doors and helping people in need to get food they required.

In 2021, many of our customers were asking us to add a street food element to the business so that our delicious meats could be enjoyed on the go. With Lee having an existing passion for being behind the grill; already owning several BBQs and cooking outdoors on them all year-round. Using the best cuts of meat, seasoned with fresh blends of herbs & spices cooked over local lump wood charcoal, Meat & Greet BBQ came alive in the summer 2021. 18 months down the road we have one of the best reputations in East Anglia, not only for BBQing but as a distinguished street food vendor.

    This restaurant was real busy midweek at 8pm. It is new to B.S.E. and still finding its feet. Yes service was a bit slow, yes it wasn't as warm inside as you would of liked, but the food was excellent (needed to be served on hot plates though) Will we go back, yes for sure and we wish this new business all the success in the world

    Attentative service Amazing food. Cool vibe It feels life a steak house restaurant! Would have given it 5 stars but despite sitting near the door, it was a little cold in there and had to keep my coat on.

    We've been fans of Meat and Greet on the market for a while. The food is always great and the resturant is no different. We had a great time, staff were friendly, attentive and chatting away with us all evening. We had one food error with the wrong steak provided, but that was soon sorted with a fresh plate and a free drink by way of apology. Absolutely loved our time there, great friends, great staff. We all had different cuts of steak and we all really enjoyed those, added a couple of sides and bam! Incredible! I had read someone else's review about the brownie so had to try it and didn't disappoint, it was delish!! When this place has been running a bit longer and they've really got everything nailed (it's a huge leap from street food vendor to resturant) I think it will be very challenging to beat it. Great food, and well done on following your dream and taking this leap of faith, absolutely brilliant!!

    Exceptional food, outstanding service and very reasonably priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience at Meat & Greet. We will definitely be going back soon.

    Really great tasty food very flavoursome. .Pork Tomahawk cooked to perfection. All served lovely and hot , waiter services excellent too. Definitely be returning

    The chicken tenders impressed our son and he’s a real connoisseur! Steak was excellent and cooked just right. It was also good that Lee made himself known and had a personal word for all tables. Will be visiting again.
