Meat & Greet BBQ started in 2019, where initially we sold uncooked meats which had been seasoned with spice blends from all across the world. The Covid pandemic saw the business begin to grow rapidly – with us delivering our high-quality meats all around the clock, direct to customer’s doors and helping people in need to get food they required.

In 2021, many of our customers were asking us to add a street food element to the business so that our delicious meats could be enjoyed on the go. With Lee having an existing passion for being behind the grill; already owning several BBQs and cooking outdoors on them all year-round. Using the best cuts of meat, seasoned with fresh blends of herbs & spices cooked over local lump wood charcoal, Meat & Greet BBQ came alive in the summer 2021. 18 months down the road we have one of the best reputations in East Anglia, not only for BBQing but as a distinguished street food vendor.

We had an amazing lunch today at Meat & Greet. They had even set out the high chairs before we had arrived! The food was cooked perfectly and the kids were happy. The price was really good for the quality of steak and burgers (that were cooked perfectly) A member of our party have booked Meat & Greet for their wedding so it was nice to pop in and support a local company! I highly recommend visiting!

For their second night it was excellent. Staff were very pleasant and attentive and the food was excellent. We both had sirloin steaks which were very flavoursome, the sauces were excellent and the chips and coleslaw were perfect. Also a couple of super cheesecakes for dessert with a very generous glass of dessert wine. We will be back

Starter not brilliant but Kansas’s fries and steak v good only open 2 days so understandable not perfect

We went to meat and greet during their soft opening. The ambience is overall very nice. The style of the restaurant is industrial, but I loved the way you could see into the kitchen. I don’t eat meat but the other half does. I went for the halloumi burger And the other half had steak with chimichurri. We shared sweet potato fries and coleslaw. The other half loved his steak and said he would definitely go back again. My burger was okay. The bun was lovely, the halloumi would’ve been better if it was simply placed on the barbecue Rather than being coated and deep-fried. There was nothing in the burger other than a tiny scraping of sweet chilli sauce. The owner was very open to feedback and I suggested that the burger came with lettuce, tomato, and possibly red onion. He took the feedback on board. Unfortunately, the smoke alarms went off twice while we were there. This was no fault of the owner, but simply teething troubles. The staff were lovely and very attentive. I’m sure once they find their feet this place will be absolutely fantastic. If you love steak, I would highly recommend it. Wishing the owners and their staff all the best for the future and we will definitely see them again.

Superb from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Nothing was too much trouble, friendly service, food was cooked to perfection! Great value for money. Also the best chocolate brownie I’ve ever tasted, we will most definitely be coming back ⭐️
