The jockey had good food and drink and great ambience. Had a reservation but they were running behind so we did still have to wait about 20 minutes to be sat. A little bit loud and crowded but overall I would go back!

The food was delicious - the service was dreadful! We gathered here to celebrate birthdays for two people so we were hoping for a nice evening. Sadly our poor server was overwhelmed. It looked like the hostess/ management seated all of her tables at the same time (at least 5 tables). It took forever for her to even take our orders & when the food came out it was only the orders for half the table- the rest of us waited another 15 minutes for our food. My husband received his appetizer & main course at the same time. The whole experience was a hot mess and NOT the celebration we had hoped for. The noise level was very, very loud so conversation was difficult. That being said - it was a Saturday night. This is not the place to go for a quiet dinner & conversation.

Long waits even if you have a reservation. Food is okay, and there is nothing to rave about—high prices for mediocre food.

My experience was amazing! First time being back from McKenzies the restaurant is amazing. The calamari was outstanding as was my shrimp and scallop curry dish. Our server Emily was awesome and very knowledgeable about the menu and provided great recommendations such as the apple spring rolls we had for dessert. 10/10 would come back!

I like what they’ve done w/ the place. Food was hit (Tomato Bisque, Calamari) or whiff (mostly spinach, lamb was MIA) for the Lamb & Spinach egg rolls. Bar was very loud. We ate in the dining room thus the ‘moderate’ noise rating. Parking is horrendous. Yikes! NOTE: Server was great.

Nice surprise. Could stand to have a few more main entrees or change the menus every couple of months. They did a really excellent job with the remodel giving it a little more class and getting away from using just the typical bar menu. The place was packed when I first came in at 7PM but quiet and emptying as I was leaving around 8:45PM. This is not unlike most restaurants ever since life opened up post covid. The employees no matter their job were all friendly and accommodating. The piano music was a nice touch and just the right sound level because it could be heard and enjoyed yet not so loud that you could not have a conversation. Could stand having a few more lower price wine choices. Not unlike most restaurants wine is too high priced. I know that because I buy wine for home use. Something is way off when for a bill your 2 glasses of 5 oz wines cost as much as your meal. It is for this reason that my first choice of a restaurants is usually a BYOB. Had a nice time and I will return.
