   This was my first time visiting McCormick and Schmick's. We arrived about 15 minutes early for our 630 reservations and the hostess informed us that our table would be ready at our reservation time. We went to the bar to have a drink and at 630 the hostess let us know that our table would be right behind us and would remain with the same server Cat. We were seated at a four top with a 10 inch flip up extension. We asked if there was another table available in the main dining room and were told that there was not (reservations were made three months ago. We noticed that there was another extension on the other end of the table, and we put it up. Our orders were taken some of our group's salads were delivered. Approximately 10 minutes later my wedge salad was delivered. The salad was less than stellar with a half a strip of bacon on it. Our Entrees arrived about 40 minutes later. The fried shrimp that two of our group had was OK, but its kind of hard to mess up fried shrimp. Myself and another friend had the blackened red fish, and it was so leathery that we could not cut it with a fork. My wife had the fried chicken, and the entire table noticed as soon as it was set down that it was burnt. We flagged down Cat and had all three items removed from the table. The three of us that returned our food choose not to replace our entrees due to the time it took to receive the meal and the quality of the three items returned. After some time, the manager did come by and apologized and offered again to replace our entrees, we declined. Needless to say, none of our group will be back due to the quality.

   Food was cold. Had to send 1 entree back. Another's was Luke warm but this person will not bring to Mgr attention. Service slow.

   This used to be such a great restaurant! Server said she didn’t know much about wine when asked is she could recommend or knew if there was unoaked Chardonnay Asked if she could get help and she shrugged Her shoulders and made no attempt to get help Food asked about the oysters on the menu and she said she didn’t know a lot about oysters Food came and the salmon entree was very over cooked and dry I let the waitress know and she made no offer to remedy She honestly seemed not to care We will not be returning We stated on reservations that it was our anniversary Nothing special was noted

   Seafood Alfredo was awful. Stayed in warmer way too long. Sticky, dry. Tiny shrimp obviously from a frozen bag. Worst $30 dish I have ever had.

   Wasn't seated next to window near the plaza lights, although there was seating available. Didn't do anything for husband's birthday.

   The service was good. The food was just bland I started with the kiss shrimp I could not taste the bacon wrapped around it nor the sauce that was on it. The seafood pasta alfredo was just bland. I had to add salt and pepper to get any flavor. I’ve been here several times and have never had a bad food experience until now.

   We had reservations for 7:45. We came in and checked at the front desk at 7:15. We went tot he bar for a drink, going back to be seated at 7:40. Were told they were running 2 minutes late. Half and hour later we were seated. Why make reservations???

    I booked this restaurant to celebrate my mothers 75th birthday because I think it has awesome views of the plaza, only to be seated in a corner in the back room surrounded by a bunch of curtains and walls. When I asked them if I can have a different table maybe by the windows the hosting staff was rude and embarrassed me in front of all the waiting customers. I went back to the table that they initially gave me and went ahead with my dinner but i will never return to this restaurant again.
