                                                                                                                                                                          This restaurant specialises in Northern Chinese food, which is a bit stronger flavoured than the Cantonese food that is almost ubiquitous around Australia. We enjoyed trying the different flavours and five of the six dishes that we ordered were definitely worth getting again. The serving sizes were also more generous than expected, so it turned out that we ordered more food than was necessary (not that we let it go to waste). Special mention is given to the simple dish of mushrooms and beans - lots of flavour and very generous with the Chinese mushrooms. The duck was particularly moist and tender, and the pork hock in brown sauce was another standout. The stairs to the first floor are a bit long and steep if any of your party have mobility issues, so specify a downstairs table if necessary.
