   I ordered a NY strip steak. Not seasoned well at all. Mashed potatoes were just ok. Brussel sprouts very good. Liver pate’ was just ok. Rather disappointing overall.

   We hadn't been to Martine's in some time, and decided to try it on a Thursday night to avoid the weekend crowds. We were seated quickly and our server, Rich, was extremely pleasant and efficient. We shared a small plate of ricotta toast, topped with marinated grapes. Delicious! I opted for the French cut chicken, served with goat cheese mashed potatoes and haricot verts. My husband had the ahi tuna served on spiralized vegetables. Both were so yummy and beautifully presented. The wines we chose were also quite lovely. All in all, a very cozy atmosphere and a fantastic view of the Delaware River from our table. We'll be back!!

   Food was good however what detracted from that was the slow service and even slower pace the food came out. We almost left. Initially the server came to our table quickly, took our drink and food order and then never came back. I had to flag him down to ask where our food was after an over 45 minute wait for a grilled sandwich. A "check in" to apologize for the long wait or ask if we needed a drink refill would have been appropriate. No ambience inside but the outside deck area is nice. I would not go back though due to the service and how long it takes to get food and drinks.

   Let them know if you have a nut allergy . Chocolate moose. Is amazing .

   As a party of 4 who ordered 3 appetizers (2 pumpkin soups, 1 order of deviled eggs) and 4 cold main dishes (chopped liver pate, burrata, caesar salad, and a lobster role), we waited exactly an hour for the appetizers alone. The soup was delicious but lukewarm and the 1.5 deviled eggs were okay. The red wine ordered was delivered in a dirty wine glass so we had to send it back and request a clean glass. When the waitress delivered the appetizers, we requested our main dishes immediately given the delay. The caesar salad was mediocre (the crisps were delicious), the minced lobster roll was dry, the pate okay, and the burrata was fine. We requested the check when the main dishes were delivered and it was brought 15 minutes later. The waitress wasn’t particularly nice or apologetic for the delay- she simply didn’t care and told us she bumped up our order in the kitchen … after 55 mins of us sitting there. If you have time constraints or expect efficient service, consider an alternative dining establishment

   Food was very good. I had the buratta salad and my husband had the borrow pasta with veggies. The salad was delicious. The pasta was warm, but not hot. It would have been much better if it was very hot. Our server was delightful and attentive!

   Great food and service. We sat outside right by the river on Halloween. It was so beautiful out there on the deck. Love the fried green tomatoes. Overall a wonderful afternoon evening
