Pasta Course including Rabbit Ragu, Lobster Ravioli and Truffle Gnocchi. Main Courses of Wagyu Ribeye, Black Cod or Duck Leg Confit will start your New Years eve celebrations with style and comfort. Amazing Martini chilled to perfection. Octopus appetizer was amazing. What can I say about the Bronzino the best I had in LA. To be honest, it doesn’t matter what you order. The food is excellent. Next time I will try to meet the chef who is creating this fantastic food. Thank you

I loved eating here! I wish i got our servers name he was exceptional. It makes me appreciate supporting smaller-ran, local restaurants. The pappardele and arugula salad were AMAZING. Paired with the Piedmont Chianti, I couldn’t have asked for a better pairing. We will be back!!

First time to Marlena and we'll be happy to return! Brunch for five of us included a (spicy) pepperoni pizza, lemon ricotta pancakes and chicken sandwich plus draft beer, bloody mary and L'Aero (better than a typical aperol) Spritz. Food, service and ambiance are great! This is one of the best restaurants in the 2nd street area. Note: a few spots are available in their parking lot, but plenty on nearby streets.

The good: Beautiful ambiance and excellent service. As a local, I loved unexpectedly running into some old friends. The espresso martini was amazing as was the wine selection. The cheesecake was delicious. The meh: The food was just okay. The swordfish was unevenly seasoned, so some bites good, some completely bland. Same with the steak. The lentils also seemed unevenly cooked with some being hard like little seeds and others soft. The lentils came with the swordfish and tasted fishy to me- I didn’t like the flavor but that might be personal preference because I heard another patron saying he liked the “umami” flavor of the lentils. I would have preferred contrasting flavors rather than one fishy plate with everything tasting the same. The salad was decent but nothing exiting. We had pre-dinner cocktails served in what reminded me of those plastic cups found in a diner but glass, the presentation lacked- the actual drink just okay not worth the price. The espresso martini, ambience and service will make me go back again. But maybe just for the martini and cheesecake.

This was my second time at Marlena. It did not disappoint. There was a great pasta addition that exceeded my expectations. Will definitely need to revisit. The environment was comfortable and warm. The service was excellent.

Had a lovely Sunday brunch at Marlena. We ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes and the breakfast pizza w sunny side egg. Delicious! I was in between 2 drinks and our server’s recommendation did not disappoint! I wanted a sour/tart drink and the “pick me up” fit the bill. Everyone was so cheerful and attentive. Also such a cute spot! I’ll definitely come back :)

We went for my husbands birthday. Food and service were excellent. Really appreciated the selection of wines by the glass and the variety of food A bit pricey but definitely great quality. We will be back.
