Enjoy a lively dining experience at one of Brookfield’s oldest landmark. Serving casual comfort food, MP Tavern is a great choice for a night out with friends, dinner with the family, or a quick stop during your busy day. Renovations in 2019 updated the 150 year old building many locals have called their ‘go-to’ spot for years. Now also known for ‘to-go,’ we’ve implemented special procedures focused on a health-first mindset necessary for today’s modern restaurant, and curbside service is always available. As part of Market Hospitality Group, you can expect the same high quality service found in our sister restaurants - Market Place Kitchen and Bar of Danbury, Woodbury, Avon, Newtown, Shelton, along with Market Place Tavern of Litchfield, as well as Mercato Italian Kitchen and Bar of Southbury.

We were dining woth new friends and had the corner booth in the bar, closest to the kitchen. The speaker above my head was very loud but the server had no issue turning down the volume

This is to let you know that Marketplace Tavern in Brookfield, CT is closed for Renovations. It was weird that I was able to make a reservation for my boss and her colleagues ~ they arrived and the one person they found in the restaurant said "we are closed" ... they explained we made a reservation "oh" .... "sorry" .... It might be a good idea to let OPEN TABLE know they are closed. Thanks. I should have called and "confirmed" YIKES!
