Mari Vanna NYC is the 5th restaurant in a magical story of a woman’s love for food, friends, and hospitality turned into an international franchise. Nestled in the quiet of 20th st in the heart of Flatiron, the quaint eatery has been a neighborhood staple for 14 years.

It is filled with antique furniture, lace drapery, cozy armchairs, Soviet nick-nacks, crystal chandeliers, and floral china. Our team will treat you with a menu full of home-style dishes from Russian, Ukrainian,and Georgian cuisines, accompanied by house-infused flavored vodkas and signature cocktails.

Overall amazing. Atmosphere is above and beyond. Most of the food was very good (soup was great, infused vodka amazing), appetizer was good). Little disappointed with entree (cutlet Kiev style) - meat was dry and because of that not as tasty. Noise level was as described - increasing later in the evening. Specifically at 6 pm on Friday noise was very low, by 8 pm you would need to speak very loud to hear each other. All things considered- 5 stars!

The food and service is exceptional. They did not miss a beat. The smoked fish appetizer was outstanding. Plus, it’s simply fun to be there. We ended our meal with a complimentary apricot infused shot of vodka. A great ending to a perfect night. You must go there!
