   This was our 1st time trying the Marcus grill. And it was great the food was amazing, the atmosphere was welcoming and the service was top tier. We will be coming back and bringing friends and family.

   Supper and Spins was exceptional. Food was delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Music from DJ was loud but good.

   The food was excellent. Especially the seasoning of the catfish and brisket hash. It was nice having a live DJ. Her playlist was stellar, but we had to practically shout amongst our guests. The music volume was unnecessarily loud. I’m not deterred from visiting the Red Rooster in a couple weeks.

   Love the vibe and ambience but the food was mediocre. Too many dishes that were sweet or bland (greens sweet, cornbread sweet, hot sauce sweet, steak bland, deviled eggs bland, mac and cheese bland).

   I thought the buffet was quite expensive considering what was on the menu. The food was good but not amazing. Waffles were soggy. The fried chicken and fried catfish were good. Parking was $10. So it was an expensive brunch. Next time, I’ll just go for the dinner.

   We had an excellent time on our first visit to Marcus. We are new to the city and this is near the top of our favorite places so far. The food and atmosphere were awesome but the people are what make it special! Thanks team Marcus! You’re definitely in our rotation now!
