Maple Tree Inn was awarded the very prestigious honor of being named in the Top 50 Southern Restaurants In America by OpenTable in 2018. We are proud to announce that the Maple Tree Inn has permanently relocated to Homewood, IL. We have maintained almost 100% of our staff and they have made the move with us.
We are still committed to the art of Cajun/Creole cooking & maintaining our status as the first and longest-running Cajun/Creole restaurant in Chicagoland. We are featuring a menu of our signature dishes including our Hickory Buttered BBQ Shrimp, Country Gumbo, Jambalaya, Crawfish Étouffée, and many more!     party of of 11 and our server Ozzie was so efficient. He was able to explain the entrees, worked with our food allergy, and offered cocktail suggestions which were all delicious. moody decor and a lively ambience

    We took my mother-in-law out for her 88th birthday party. We had a large party and had to wait a little bit past our reserved time but that was because of lingering diners occupying the space. We had the best server Joe. He was very attentive especially catering to the birthday girl. The food was delicious, not too spicy, with a definite Creole zing. I had the redfish with etouffe - generous portion and very tasty. The catfish, chicken, burnt ends, and gumbo were also good. A great place for a special night out.

    It’s a great place , the only thing I noticed was one bar tender was kind of short and almost rude with a customer when he asked for a drink while waiting for his table but a server named Emily swooped in and was very kind to accommodate the patron .

    The food was great. But it seam that prices are 20% - 35% higher. Had to look for another meal for my budget. Otherwise everything was great.

    Server automatically added a service charge & we were 5 people. When asked he acted confused. Then at the end of the bill we were again overcharged by $8.00. When asked he gave some ridiculous explanation. Terrible way to end the night. Let’s add he gave no apology, manager didn’t come over, no one really cared.
