Set on the edge of the picturesque Wessex Downs in the North Hampshire countryside, Malverleys is a small farm, restaurant, bakery and shop. We offer a versatile space for the local community to enjoy coffee, wholesome food and carefully sourced produce.

Malverleys provides an outlet immersed in the countryside where friends and family can meet, or those seeking time to themselves can enjoy the comfortable, tranquil atmosphere. Visitors have the opportunity to purchase sustainably sourced products, attend horticultural workshops, and dine in the restaurant where ingredients are seasonal and often raised/grown on-site in the market garden and surrounding land. We also source the best of British fish, with deliveries throughout the week from day-boats landing at Looe harbour and from Hampshire's chalk streams.

We are sorry but we cannot accommodate dogs in our restaurant area over lunch or dinner services.

We ate here for the first time and were impressed by the building which hosts the restaurant, cafe and very small shop. The restaurant itself is quite spacious but not huge and has a log fire which went out and was not re-lit during our meal. The room was then quite cold. Diners were sitting in their coats. The menu is unusual and in some ways disappointing. There are the favourite olives, bread (excellent) and nibbles to start with. Arancini was todays nibble, except the arancini were no longer available. The starters are odd - apart for a recognisable soup there were snacks rather than starters - pork pie, sausage roll, flans served cold for example and salads of varying denominations. I opted for the beetroot salad which contained beetroot in a dressing and well....more beetroot. There was really nothing else that resembled a starter as such. The mains were also few in number and we both opted against the steak, the fish and the burger and went instead for the butterflied chicken. Huge is an understatement but good it was. The skinny fries (are chunky or triple cooked now old hat??) with mayo, the carrots with their own puree, all were good enough. Not fine dining but perhaps country cooking in style. Prices were OK and the wine list offered a good selection by the glass. Not sure we will go again as the menu didn't wow us and good as the food was there are several more compelling restaurants between home and Malverleys.

A very pleasant casual lunch on Valentine’s Day. Service was prompt and nicely done by friendly staff. The ambience was attractive although our table was a little close to two others. The menu was fairly limited but the food quality was fine.

Just perfect. Relatively small but balanced menu, everything we had was faultless and everything else we saw coming out of the kitchen looked just as good. Wonderful drinks list to accompany. It’s a gem.

I cannot fault this lovely, intimate, atmospheric, stylish restaurant. We enjoyed a wonderful Burns Night menu, superbly cooked and wonderfully delivered by engaging staff in a room that had a comfortable buzz and subtle log fire. Fabulous!!

Second lunch at lovely Malverleys. Love the new menu with plenty of dish choices. We were celebrating two birthdays and spent a very relaxing and delicious three hours in the cosy dining room with the log fire burning. Sunshine streaming through the large windows. Would recommend it without hesitation. The adjacent coffee/light lunch area was buzzing. Fab day!

What a find! Very good food, excellent risotto with scallops and lobster butter, very good fish pie for daughter as well. Setting beautiful, place lovely, if only they had more produce, it would be perfect! Very good indeed.

This has become my new favourite restaurant. I love the ambience of the room and how much the staff cares. I LOVE the food. It is not cheap, but the food is utterly fantastic and good value. For a similar meal in London, you would pay a LOT more! I recommend it highly.
