Taqueria Mal Pan is a modern Mexican experience. Our chef-driven menu is a combination of both the modern and classic Mexican kitchen. You’ll experience a menu with inspiration from Baja to Yucatan and everywhere in between. In step with the theme of our kitchen, the beverage program at Mal Pan is also inspired by the old and the new. Our back bar is filled with a curated list of artisan spirits from the US, Mexico, the Caribbean and beyond.     Great experience my first time there. Made a reservation for 5 for 6:00 on Saturday night. Friendly hostess. Seated immediately upon arrival. Server was very helpful and attentive. Drinks (had margaritas and rum punch) and food were very good and the portion sizes were generous. Definitely recommend the Queso Fundito and Enchiladas Suizas. Really convenient parking (garage right next door). I’ll definitely be back.

    Great service and the California burrito and Caesar salad were delicious. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Charlotte.

    Whether you’re going for dinner or brunch, Mal Pan offers a delicious spread of unique options that are sure to please. Mal Pan is our date night go-to — in part because of their N/A drink options. We recently tried it for brunch; the coffee was splendid, along with the chilaquiles and carnitas tacos. It’s a great hidden gem in SouthPark 💎

    Hands-down, the best Mexican restaurant that we’ve ever been to. The California burrito was 10/10. This place would go great with live music!
