    Thank you SO much for making our Anniversary night so very special. Highly recommend Makoto for a beyond exceptional experience of an evening. From the valet service, to our most friendly and helpful host - from the moment we stepped out of the car we were treated with the utmost care. Though, I have got to say… our server, Shannon, was absolutely beyond fantastic. She was so knowledgeable about everything on the menu, had fantastic recommendations, and the service was phenomenal - so much so, we actually took them all!! And WOW. This was one of, if not THE top dining experiences I have ever had. HIGHLY recommend if you’re looking for an amazing dining experience in Vail! Thank you again so much to Shannon, the chef, the rest of the staff - you truly made our night even more special.

    This was my wife and I's second time enjoying Makoto, and they did not disappoint either time. The service is amazing; not only was our server knowledgeable and attentive, he also remembered us from our first visit 3 months ago. The food....to die for! I highly suggest the "fire and ice oysters", my wife had 2 orders herself! The chefs combination was most excellent as well. We will be revisiting this place frequently.

    Lives up to its name and reputation. We’re from Miami and the service and food is up to par. The team there is incredible. The fish is fresh. Must visit when in vail

    We had a blast for the second time at Makoto! The food is amazing, nice choice, great quality ! Shannon, our waitress is just amazing ! Lovely, professional, service with a smile ! What else ! Best place !strongly recommend!

    Amazing food and service. Our server Eddie was awesome and explained the menu so well. The dessert was insanely good. The entire meal left us completely satisfied and not over full. The Wasabi was very unique and delicious. Our new favorite spot!!

    The restaurant is located in the hotel. Valet parking is available. The menu is limited. Dishes are served on time. Arrogance is a distinctive feature of the restaurant. The unprofessionalism of the management staff ruined the overall impression.

    We had a great time at Makato! Great ambience, easy parking (valet), and terrific food. Eduardo was our server and he made some excellent recommendations-loved them!
