MAKfam is primarily a walk-in restaurant that offers limited reservations for weekday lunches only. The majority of our tables are open for walk-ins – please come in even if you don’t see availability at your preferred time.

MAKfam is a love letter to the owners' Chinese American roots, both having been raised by immigrant families who worked in restaurants. It began as a pop-up in NYC & NJ, then evolved as a stall in a Denver food hall. MAKfam is now an elevated counter-service restaurant in the Baker neighborhood serving award-winning Chinese food, natural wines, & craft cocktails. Crab Rangoons & hand-folded chicken & chive potstickers are inspired by Chinatown favorites, made with particular care & big flavor. Chicken wings with tingly málà seasoning & corned beef fried rice offer a familiar-yet inventive take on classics.

MAKfam is a 2024 Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand winner & Chef Kenneth Wan is the Semi Finalist in the 2024 Emerging Chef category of the James Beard Foundation.

Great flavors as usual! We went on their lunar new year fundraiser and the energy at the restaurant was incredible. Loved the spicy wonton and the scallion fried rice. Not a big fan of the MSGin cocktail but not a big deal.

One of my absolute favorite spots in Denver. The food and drinks are phenomenal, great vibes. One of the best things about MAKfam is the love you can feel is put into everything. You can tell this place is run with heart & soul and exists to serve the community and create an amazing space. We have been numerous times, and will definitely be back.

Seriously so good… You can’t go wrong but the spicy noodles are incredible. Great natural wine and cocktails too. We always feel so well taken care of by the staff, excellent experience every time. The whole place is just so on point - the hype is real and it’s always worth the wait
