    The service was excellent as always. I would not recommend the burger. For the price, it was disappointing to have American/processed cheese. The meat was excellent, but real cheese is a must. Also, no lettuce or tomato. Onion and pickle only. I’ve had steak, fish, and seafood at Major Tom and will stick with that in future. I wanted to change it up, but I won’t order the burger again.

    Great dining experience. Never mind the view (which is exceptional- a hot dog would taste better at 40 floors up)- the food and service are amazing. Best martinis ever!

    Review for Major Tom Restaurant We made a reservation through OpenTable 11 days in advance and specifically requested a window table. However, upon arrival, we were not given a window table, and when we asked, we were told they were all reserved. To our frustration, the couple seated next to us mentioned they had made the same request and theirs was honored. We were also celebrating a birthday, but our main server didn’t acknowledge it or make the experience feel special in any way, which was disappointing. As for the food, the quality was good, but not outstanding. The flavors were decent but not particularly memorable—nothing that would make me want to return for the food alone. Overall, if Major Tom can’t accommodate requests made nearly two weeks in advance through OpenTable, perhaps they shouldn’t offer that option. The lack of attention to detail and customer care took away from what could have been a more enjoyable experience.
