The food, the room, and the service capture the sophistication and glamour of mid-century New York penthouse life, and you feel instantly at home. We maintain the high standards our guests have come to expect, and we do this while being down-to-earth, lively, playful, quirky, fun, and full of personality.

    Our server was amazing, the food was delicious and we enjoyed a spectacular view of downtown. We started off with the drinks, the major tots and lobster roll hor dourves, rigatoni pasta, and finished off with the old baked Alaska dessert. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and highly recommend for a date night.

    A lovely restaurant with a great view. It is noisy, but dark, so it still can feel intimate, but conversation is challenging if there’s more than two at a table. Menu is small but well done. Gluten free is possible but not clearly marked and there are unlisted vegan options.

    We sat by the window this time. Absolutely love this restaurant. It’s in our top 3 in Calgary. Food, service, atmosphere are all amazing. Highly recommend it to everyone.

    Amazing place! We were lucky enough to get a new years eve reservation for our anniversary and it was incredible. Amazing food, great staff, the best ambiance in the city!

    Great evening and fantastic meal. Wanted to have a special experience for NYE and was not disappointed. The service was fantastic, it was clear that extra staff were in hand to ensure the service was too notch. The food was outstanding, especially the chocolate souflee!

    Another fabulous experience at Major Tom. Food is always incredible and delicious, cocktails are fantastic! And wonderful service, attentive but you never feel rushed which is so nice.
