   After two visits, I can say it's a very nice dining experience. There were hits and misses, too many misses at this price point. I've loved the fish ceviche each visit, and warned my guests I would not share the 2nd time. On the first visit, the portion was really too small to give up even one taste. The 3 potato crisps are nice but, won’t carry the delicious juices. I longed for a baguette. They don't serve bread here. Luckily, the portion size was somewhat bigger the second visit, and just as tasty. However, it was hard to identify the fish in the dish -- perhaps it was diced very small or there just wasn't enough fish in there. I would still order it on every visit. I ordered some baguette in advance and expected to pay for it. I was charged a reasonable amount but was given 3 small, thin slices that were either dry or stale. I didn't eat 2 of them. Charge me more, and give me some nice bread please! The watermelon salad was a delight with beautifully contrasting flavors. I've seen the trout almandine enjoyed on 2 occasions and believe it to be better than you might expect. However, my chosen entrees on each visit were just OK. I wouldn't again order the bouillabaisse or the Ecuadorian pork stew. The chunks of stewed pork were mostly tough and hard, even though stewed in a tasty sauce. I expected moist and tender pork. A nice baguette would have accompanied well. On my first visit, the black and white soufflé was wonderful -- give me more! The seasonal bad bunny desert was interesting and fun, but nobody fought over the apple tart ala mode. I was keen to order the soufflé again, and we had 2 for the table. They were good and served with ice cream that was more melted than I'd like, but that was really inconsequential. I couldn't identify what was missing until I looked at the description at home. The passion fruit crème anglaise was completely missing. I want to love this restaurant, and will very likely go back to try more dishes.

   The summer menu has some great additions. The Corvina Equitoriana was out of this world. we are looking forward to trying several of the new dishes. Of course the steak frites is always amazing as are Chef Manuel‘s ceviche’s.

   A nice lunch. They were out of most dishes because of the recent Mother's day rush, but what we got was very tasty! Portions are smaller than expected but very good. Was my first time there so didn't know what to expect. Extremely good atmosphere for a nice lunch.

   The staff were so incredible and the musical vibes of 90s and 2000s country and pop was perfect for a girls dinner. The food was good- but nothing spectacular.

   Service always seems to decline on Mother’s Day, no matter where you go, but our dishes were so poorly timed that a couple people were finished before others got served in our party of 6. This happened at both the main brunch entrees and desserts. Steak Tartare and Duck a l’orange both had strong flavors overpowering the dish, making them out of balance. Ambiance lost a star as one could simply look to the bar just 20 feet away and see stacks of wine boxes. Couldn’t they find somewhere out of sight to put them?

   We were really looking forward to our visit, especially since it was Mother’s Day and we had a party of 7 (6 adults and 1 child). Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. The good: The cocktails were excellent—easily the highlight of the afternoon. Our appetizers, including the empanadas, beet and goat cheese salad, and ceviche, were all flavorful and well-prepared. While the portions were quite small for the price, we did enjoy the taste. The not-so-good: The entrées, particularly the steaks, were disappointing. Three out of the four steak dishes were cooked incorrectly—two were undercooked and one was overdone. One also lacked seasoning entirely. What made matters worse was that only three of the six entrées arrived initially, leaving half of our table without food or silverware. Our utensils had been cleared with the appetizers and weren’t replaced, so even those who had food couldn’t eat until we tracked someone down. Our server was largely absent, and we had to rely on the hostess and other staff members just to get basic needs met, like silverware and drinks. The unacceptable: Service was the biggest issue. While we understand it was a busy holiday, we had reservations, so the restaurant was aware of our party size in advance. The service we received was inattentive and disorganized. We were automatically charged a 20% gratuity due to our party size, which is standard and understandable, but it felt frustrating to pay that amount when the level of service we received didn’t come close to earning it. Our server didn’t check in once after the food arrived—he only reappeared at the end to drop off the check. In summary, while the drinks and appetizers were enjoyable, the overall experience—especially the service—was a letdown. I wouldn’t choose to return based on this visit.

   Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. It took over 20 minutes just to get water after we were seated, which should have been a red flag. Sensing things might go downhill, we placed our food order as soon as our server finally came over. As time went on, we noticed several tables around us—who were seated after us—were getting their appetizers, entrees, and even desserts. We had to flag our server down to ask about our food, and she casually told us it would be out in 7 minutes. After another 20 minutes passed with no food, we asked for the manager. When the manager came, she apologized and told us they were just now starting our order—this was over an hour since we had been seated. I asked if our server forgot to put the order in, but the manager stuck to the excuse that the kitchen was backed up. I found that hard to believe given that all the tables around us (being served by other servers) were well into their meals. At that point, we told them we were leaving. We even offered to pay for the drinks we had, but the manager came back quickly and told us it was covered, again apologizing but never once acknowledging the server’s mistake. Blaming the kitchen might be the easy route, but it was clear the real issue was our server’s lack of attention and accountability. At the very least, own up to the mistake. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for good service or honesty

    Maison Pucha is a fabulous choice for lunch or for dinner! The food is delicious, the choices are varied and you will find outstanding French cuisine with some South American additional flavors that are exceptional! I highly recommend it to you for any occasion - business lunch, family gathering, or dinner for two!
