   We had a reservation for 8:30 and weren’t seated until 9pm. It took a long time to get any attention from the waiter so it was 10pm by the time our appetizer came out. They added something to the bone marrow which made it barely edible. The lobster pasta was bland. We decided to skip dessert.

   An extremely underwhelming and disappointing experience from the moment upon arrival. No one to great guests at the host stand despite standing reservations. No eye contact, brief wave or acknowledgement of any kind from staff working the floor. Collectively the food was subpar to say the least. Paella is completely devoid of all flavor. There are fantastic restaurants all over SXM. This is not one of them.

   Good cocktails and great vibes. Service was also very good but food was hit or miss. The fish baked in clay and the mussels were good but everything else was average or flavorless. Would go back for the vibes and a drink but not for the food.

   We booked for 9pm, 2 people. There was No other availability. We were very punctual Our table was not ready. We were asked to wait at the bar. We ordered some cocktails Were finally placed at a different table, facing the parking lot, at 9.25 as our initial table was still not ready. Apparently they did not care to remind the table’s occupiers that the table should have been freed by 9pm… We ordered right away, an appetizer to share and 2 mains By 10.15 pm we only had been served our shared appetizers… we had to ask for our mains… a party of 8 who arrived after us was served in priority, delaying our service, and making us feel like second class customers, yet a bit more… We understood from the waitress that in compensation for the long wait, our cocktails ( which we ordered only because our table, was not ready at reservation time) would be on the house. However, when we finally got the bill, close to 11 pm, we realized that only the glass of wine my husband ordered with his meal had been deducted. We did not complained we were too tired and too upset. We paid and left. The food was ok, the service was not.

   Busy and not enough staff to handle during dinner. Staff tried but were overwhelmed. Drinks couldn’t keep up with food. Food was below average, as I assume the kitchen was overwhelmed. Not a great experience.
