   Our first visit to Main Street Station. Nice looking restaurant. Looked over the menu of course the one thing I wanted I was told they have no bread in tonight. So had to get a second choice. Food was decent, service was just ok. An hour wait for our mains although not too busy inside. We found our waitress wasn’t overly friendly, very short, didn’t offer suggestions when items I asked about weren’t available. Probably would try somewhere new next time, didn’t stand out to us to want to be return visitors. But try for yourself everyone has different opinions :)

   Four of us went for lunch…we were seated immediately,waitress brought menu’s and the fun began. Three had bacon- vodka Caesar’s which were amazing and one had Cabernet red wine . The drinks were excellent!!!Then we ordered our lunch and 3 people had taco’s, one had fish and chips. The chosen taco’s were, jerk chicken, crispy Cajun chicken and white fish tacos. The sides were fries, but there was other choices as well . The English style fish and chips was great, the fish was not greasy. The portions are generous. You get 3 loaded tacos per order. We were full. We didn’t have any room for dessert. We highly recommend this bar. It’s clean, decorated nicely and above all our waitress was friendly, fast and knowledgeable! What more do you want? I personally couldn’t eat 3 tacos so I was offered a to-go box. We left full and happy!! Thanks so much for making our day!

   I thought the food was ok. We had to ask the wait staff to come take our order. One meal was not very good and the wait staff was told so when they asked. After this the owner came over, but didn’t initially identify herself as the owner until we asked. The owner said that she was getting attitude when being told the meal wasn’t liked. The owner walked away angry and shouted to the wait staff to comp the whole table. We tried to pay for our meals, we weren’t looking for free food, just giving an opinion when asked. I tried speaking to the owner and she insisted we don’t pay for the food. Left a tip for the wait staff and left after giving the owner some advice. When she refers to customers as having attitude, that’s a lost customer and maybe more. Sometimes as the business owner you won’t hear everything was great and we love the place. But getting angry with customers because you feel it’s your right as the owner will sink your business quickly. Great fries though!

   Hi Stephen, so as I already replied to your wife's review on google, I will do so again here, because the story you are telling here is not completely accurate. I came over to the table to ask how everything was and see if there was anything I could do. And I was met with attitude and confrontation immediately. I do not tolerate my staff or myself being verbally abused. So once I realized it didn't matter what I said I chose to comp your table. It was not me implying you not wanting to pay. I did not want your money. Also, you and I had a good pleasant conversation afterwards where you told me the burgers and fries were amazing... but you start with the food was ok. I don't feel it's my right to get angry. I don't like getting angry. But I will not tolerate verbal abuse by anyone.

   The service was pretty hit and miss. We had drinks before we were offered menus. We had to ask more than once for hot sauce. The food was all well-presented but bland. It took a long time to get our bill at the end on a very quiet night.

   Our experience at lunch was very good. The food was very good, the service was excellent, and the price of everything was very reasonable. We will be returning again. We highly recommend the restaurant.

   Disappointed. Online reviews had been good but did not match our dinner experience. Issues: 1) Insufficient number of servers and kitchen staff(food was very slow coming out). To get another drink one of our party had to stand up and move toward the bar. Server then came. 2) food Chicken wings were cold Burger Insufficient amount of fries on the plate. Use smaller plates if you want to serve a few fries with a burger Garden salad was absolutely dripping with balsamic dressing. Lettuce was totally wilted. When this was mentioned to the server it seemed to annoy her. We didn’t mention the cold wings or lack of fries. Just the wilted salad. Very disappointing. One positive note was the birthday balloons on the table. Nice touch. No complimentary dessert but not all restaurants do that.

   Hi Heather, Ashley here. I am the owner at Main Street and the one who sat you when you came in. I also stopped by your table multiple times and every single time I asked how everything was you all replied "great", "so good" So I am a little confused as to why you would write such a bad review. Not once did you mention any of the above things to me, otherwise I would have fixed them, and you had plenty of chances to do so, and Stephanie, your server is one of the nicest people walking this earth and would never act annoyed if told something wasn't to your liking. She always goes above and beyond to make sure every guest has a good experience. As do I. Not once did you indicate anything was wrong or give us the thought that something was. Otherwise we would have fixed it.

   This was our first time in Orangeville and therefore our first time at Main Street. The service and food were excellent. I can’t recall our server’s name but she was so sweet and accommodating. Will definitely be back.

   Food was good, not enough wait staff for how busy it was. Be careful in the booths - they’re not bolted to the floor and can move.

   Hello, we are very happy you enjoyed your food. Unfortunately we were understaffed due to people being sick and others having already booked off for the weekend, as for the booths, we don't bolt them to the ground so that they can move if needed. A lot of times we move furniture around when we have large parties :) We hope to see you again soon!
