   Maiella made our New Year’s Eve celebration truly special! The ambiance was festive and elegant, setting the perfect tone for the evening. The food was exceptional; every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented, making the night feel extra memorable. The staff, especially our server, Jose, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and made us feel warmly welcomed. The DJ played a great selection of music. It was a fantastic way to ring in the new year, and I can’t wait to return for another amazing dining experience!

   Horrible experience! Overrated place with very poor customer service. I would definitely not recommend it! Food was bland except for the lobster pasta which was excellent. Value is poor for what you’d pay for.

   Went there for NYE, what a mistake. We had reservation at 10PM. Upon arriving shortly after the time of the reservation, they made us wait in the entrance of the restaurant for 15 minutes before sitting us at a table that was free and ready since we got in. I know that for a fact since it was next to the entrance and we could see it during our whole wait time. Since the table was next to the entrance it was cold the entire night. Upon seating we get no welcome for 10 minutes. A piece of bread placed on the table with no introduction and still no water. While looking at their menu one of the runner comes and places a plate of arancinis on the table and leave before we can say a word. According to their menu that’s the second course. He comes back a few minutes later take the plate off and go 2 tables further and drop it. Luckily for the other guests we hadn’t touched it. We finally order, from the 4 options on the pre-fixed menu only the short ribs seemed like a great choice. It appears we weren’t the same to think that since after taking our order the waiter came back to tell us he didn’t have short ribs anymore. We then had to settle for raviolis and halibut. The first course comes and we receive the second course at the same time. We thought it was a bit weird and felt pressured. The shrimp and carpaccio we had as a starter were great. The second course of arancini was cold. Not from having sat at the table while we were eating our first, but entirely cold. We had to mention it afterwards since no one cared to check the quality of the food with us. They then offered us a round of drinks, which we appreciated. While refilling our water they dropped some water and ice in my fiancee plate and didn’t even care to acknowledge it or say sorry. Main were unremarkable, the side of the plates were dirty and it felt rushed. We felt robbed for the price they charged the value just wasn’t there. Don’t matter mentionning anything special, they don’t acknowledge it

   Went to Maiella for NYE. Best venue for NYE that I've been in my life (65 yo). We may go back there in the near future, 4 course meal, Champagne toast at midnight and lots of music dancing. A little tired and sore this morning but smiling as well. F

   The food was average. Bread that came with the meatballs was very stale and not eatable. Drinks were delicious.

   I celebrated my birthday at Maiella Last night and it was lovely. I had 8 people in my party. The restaurant manager and staff made us feel welcomed. The food was great I had the roasted chicken and I’d recommend it to everyone. The ambiance was nicely decorated for the holidays and we sat right behind the LIC Pepsi sign. I would come back!

   Our anniversary dinner was excellent! Ernesto, our waiter, was very good. He honored my special cocktail request & was attentive to our needs. Our food was delicious, especially the braised short rib dish, my favorite. the chicken parmesan was also delicious. Our salads were prepared well. All in all, a wonderful meal. This is our restaurant for special dining.

    OUTSTANDING. This was our 1st time here. From walking in and being greeted with a warm smile to the beautifully decorated restaurant we knew this could be special. Once seated we shared salad and shrimp appetizers. Both great. The warm bread and dip were excellent. For dinner we shared the veal parmigiana and the tableside truffle pasta. Insanely good. The staff works seamlessly and not overbearing. Nothing overlooked all evening. The maitre d ' walks the room and makes you feel like an old friend. We shared stories from St Martin to life in general. Anthony and his staff are 2nd to none. We look forward to celebrating more delicious times at Maiella again. Happy New Year!
