MAHANIYOM is a tapas/family-style Thai cuisine that brings an exceptional dining experience
to our guests by serving meticulously home-cooked style, authentic Thai cuisine made from
scratch and handcrafted cocktails in an unpretentious feel-like-home atmosphere that
reminisces our home Thailand. Walk-ins welcome. Reservations are available 30 days in advance. We are very small, we highly recommend reservations during peak hours! Reservations and dine-in guests are designated up to 90 minutes. If you are running late, please call us at (617) 487-5986. We hold the table up to 15 minutes past the reservation time.

From the OpenTable editors: Part neighborhood cocktail den, part tapas restaurant, this buzzy hotspot from Shōjō alum Chompon Boonnak does some of the city’s most exciting Thai food; Boston Magazine named it the city's best Thai restaurant in 2023. You won't really want to skip anything on the shareable menu, but the beef panang and crab fried rice are non-negotiable. Cocktails like the Sazerac with Thai tea-infused rye are equally top-notch, and the cozy, rustic space with exposed-brick walls is for lingering.

This restaurant is my favorite little spot! Everything on the menu is absolutely amazing, with flavors that never disappoint. The drinks are all unique and delicious, crafted to perfection. What makes it even better is the incredible service—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Every time I dine here, I feel like I’m eating with friends. It’s truly a special place, and I can’t recommend it enough!

Excellent spot in Brookline village. One of the best cocktail lists in Boston, with lots of great options for small and large plates (I recommend the duck).

I was super excited to try this restaurant since I had heard good things about it. However they don’t have many vegetarian entrees. Typically Thai places accommodate vegetarians by holding the shrimp paste and fish sauce, but here the server explained that it t was all mixed in. I would really encourage the restaurant to think about including some options for vegetarians!
