In close proximity to several major universities and campuses, The Madison Pub ( aka "THEMADDY"") has just turned 40,,,,,,Congrat;s for being the Neighbourhood Pub since 1983. From the large, scenic patios that hang off huge Victorian rooms that appear to be an integral part of three connected Victorian Mansions; to the Piano Bar act; to the wide selections of Cocktails, Beer & Wine (By the bottle); all complimented by homemade Pub Grub...Awesome! The Staffers are friendly & courteous & go the extra mile to proudly talk about the establishment & its proud heritage & upcoming events. Having travelled extensively throughout England & Ireland, I can definitely classify this Venue as a PUB ! Check it out on any Thursday, Friday or Saturday night and enjoy 4 Floors of Partying. SLAINTE !

No one could find my reservation, a big space with 6 floors and no one could help me or even tried. It was my bday and 20 people couldn’t find a table because of bad management.

I booked a table for 8 weeks in advance and received online confirmations. I arrived and there was filming going on . Bar was empty. Staff had no clue about my reservation. Would have appreciated a heads up from a human about what was going on.

The experience is good, music and ambience is also good, but the service I don’t know why the last days they are being very rude, when you’re are in the middle of you dinner the waitress come and say I need need you check you out and open another bill or I need your credit card, and you like what? Can I finish my meal and beer at least? Or am I asking to much? Very tiring the staff at nights.

Server was rude. Asked for Indoor table and we were seated outdoors instead. Said they were too busy. And observed whole night weren't that busy. Made us order at the bar instead of serving us. Booked here multiple times and never had an issue like this with a server treating us like dirt. When I had my group spend thousands of dollars in bookings in the past.
