   Great place and location in a 15th floor. The food is remarkably Mexican, with the real Mexico style and flavor. Service is very good. A bit of a wait to seat, but no major issues. Atmosphere is very nice, with just a bit of volume from the music, but not anoying. Great experience overall.

   Service wasn’t great, water tasted soapy, starters came out before the drinks, food was super average and not worth the price point. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

   We came in and were greeted by our server and a manager. We happened to come in on Tuesday and tried the taco-Tuesday deal. The food was amazing, fresh and flavorful. The staff was attentive, they had an ambient fire dancer, and the music was modern and upbeat.

   Lovely Food but somewhat rude staff: We were a party of 4 who had a great dining experience, except for one issue that ruined an otherwise lovely dinner. Breaking down the experience as follows: a) Food - A super vegan friendly place with a variety of vegan food and dessert options. The portion sizes are decent and the taste is great. Particularly loved the Cauliflower rice and Mushroom Enchiladas, Strawberry Tres Leches and Empanadas. The cocktails were just fine. Be vary that you're initially served with gaucamole and tacos, however, it is not complimentary and you'll be charged for it. b) Ambience - The views from the dining area are stunning and the internal decor is also quite earthy and Mexico-like. Very few restaurants use real plants this well for their set-up. 3) Value for money - For me, the restaurant seemed a bit pricey, but thought it was worth the experience. Now coming to the offputting part - Be prepared for the staff to be very slow and somewhat unattentive. You will need to wave them most of the time to get attention. Ordering can be quite slow. The worst part is, be prepared for a rude behavior if you request to drop the 'discretionary' service charge. During our visit, after requesting the waiter to drop the service charge, the waiter enquired if we were unhappy with the service. Being polite, we explained that the service was 'just fine' not good, after which he outright became angry, and did not bother to understand what was lacking in the service. He did not come again, but sent a different waiter to collect the payment. The second waiter before collecting the payment asked us if we were sure to not pay the service charge. The whole forcible behavior around service charge was uncalled for, particularly where such charge is 'discretionary'.

   I read some bad reviews on here before booking but it was the only place I could book last min for a 7+ booking, so admittedly I was on edge before we arrived. However, i was so pleasantly surprised at how great the service was - lots of complaints were about slow food and drinks service (especially for large groups) so I was conscious about this before ordering. But to my surprise the madera staff were much speedier than I had anticipated for peak time service - especially on a Friday night. The drinks did take a bit of time but nothing drastic, the waiter was accommodating and made some suggestions about food ratios for our size group, and our food came out pretty quickly considering how much we ordered. A note to say the the margaritas were all so tasty, I preferred the classic over the picante/ spicy marg. The drinks noticeable got a bit sweeter after the first round so I’d say order spicy ones if you don’t want to finish them to quickly hahaha. The tacos were decent, chicken and prawn the best flavours. The was beef was dry and I don’t think the flavours of the pulled lamb meshed well with the corn taco. Cheesy sweetcorn and truffle fries were tasty accompaniments. My friend found that the chicken added to the Caesar salad was overcooked but the salad itself was delicious. Definitely somewhere I’d comeback to with friends especially in summer when you can appreciate the scenic London view. A note to say if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to catch up the music is loud so I wouldn’t recommend but if you’re looking for a vibe, this certainly is the place.

   This was our second visit to Madera and every bit as good as the first. The venue is superb with a fabulous 360 view of London. Friendly staff and excellently presented food.

   Don’t recommend - It was ok, but considering this visit would never return. Menu looked really good however no where it’s clear it only serves brunch on Saturday until 3pm. Brunch menu is far from great if you don’t want eggs. Had to wait a long time for waiter to come by. Maybe it was understaffed. Waiter never asked for drinks or to replenish water, which after 20min I gave up on asking. Same for dessert menu. Although saw other table eating the churros and looked far from authentic. Also no Mexican person in sight in the restaurant. Ordered the fajita bowl, the meat was tasty, but the rice was not fresh and blotted, the beans were a bit bland, same for pico de gallo. Also portions really small. Guacamole was ok. Was looking forward to try the ceviche and tacos, but considering the service was quite bad, not even front house was welcoming. The view is nice. I reserved a table and requested a window seat. Didn’t get it, even though it was not full. Not even 10min after seating, an empty table by the window was given to 2 people that arrived without a reservation. Overall disappointing experience!

   I’ll have to be honest I was extremely disappointed with the service. We constantly had to keep getting the staffs attention to be assisted. We waited over 30mins and then finally had to wave someone down to order. Then after we had eaten our table was not cleared, we waited an hour! And then we left. Food was ok, venue was beautiful with great views. We were a table of 8! So yes, the experience was underwhelming
