   Excellent service. Lovely to be waited on with lovely food. Great choice of teas. Very pleased to be sat away from the main crowd as it helped with conversation. Thank you

   Albeit a lovely environment… the service was incredibly disappointing. There was poor welcome, we had to wait a long time for drink and food, asking multiple times when wishing for another drink. There is no friendliness or professionalism when dealing with customers. Even asking to settle the bill took multiple attempts and only when walking out did the bill magically arrive. The food is adequate, but the wine is nice! Overall, given this was a special occasion for my wife and daughter, I was left feeling wholly disappointed… It was uncomfortable and we were far from relaxed from entrance to exit. All rather sad really for the cost of our poor experience.

I am disappointed to hear that you didn't have a positive experience and I will be addressing this with the team to get to the bottom of where we slipped up. We pride ourselves in providing a warm and welcoming experience and it saddens me that you left us feeling uncomfortable. As a result of your negative feedback, we were compelled to look into the slow service and the waiting time wasn't unusual or out of industry standard; (20 minutes for food and 7/8 minutes respectfully on drinks) However, this doesn't change the fact that you felt unfilled with your experience and that your celebration was spoiled. I'd like to invite you and your family back for a round of drinks on us and hopefully we will create a better memory for you.

   Lovely Venue. Sandwiches were lovely and the amuse bouche at the start was a welcome surprise. Unfortunately the cakes and scones were not to out liking. The flavoured scones were average and we prefer traditional cakes to gateaux. The tables were tight and empty tea pots were not removed before fresh ones were bought.

   A wonderful experience! Food was amazing, the setting was beautiful and the service was first class. A bonus was the elegance of the waiting staff: polite, professional and with perfect diction! Little things make a big difference and the attention to detail was immaculate.

   We visited the cocktail bar only yesterday so we cannot rate the food. We experienced a train cancellation and called to let staff know. The person who dealt with me on the phone could not have been anymore efficient and adjusted my time of arrival booking with no problem, sending me a modified booking on my phone instantly. From the moment we arrived in the bar, the customer service could not have been better. Staff were courteous and hospitable, making our trip to this stunning venue even more special. Our cocktails were spectacular too.

   Kir Royale had too much cassis and was slightly flat. Red wine had spilled being poured unknowingly until glass raised and dripped on white shirt (glass ordered not a bottle). Otherwise very good cocktails and service

    Pastries were not that great. Sandwiches were nice but more should have been served. Should have been a selection rather than in individual plates. I was rather critical as I have visited the Ritz hotel and was comparing it to them. There could be a fruit cake range Overall I thought it was quite nice The ambience was nice
