Here at Mad Dogs & Englishmen we have become renowned for our themed Afternoon Tea’s and wonderful cocktails. Enjoy the eclectic surroundings of this unique venue. We offer an immersive experience, a feast for the eyes and the taste buds!
The Parlour Tea Room at Mad Dogs and Englishmen provides a vintage setting to enjoy Afternoon tea. We’ve become renowned for our themed teas which offer an unforgettable experience.
The Botanical Rooms is upstairs and hosts our cocktail bar and also hosts our themed afternoon teas.

Join us for an elegant affair through wisteria walks and into the grandeur of Queen Charlotte's Ball. Here your exquisite themed delicacies will be served amongst secrets and surprises. All debutantes are required to book as this Afternoon Tea will be offered for 10 weeks only this year and is likely to be a very popular affair. Menu to be announced Weekdays £45.00pp plus service charge. Weekends £50.00pp plus service charge. A £10pp deposit is required to secure this booking The balance is due on the day and the service charge will be added to your bill. T’s & C’s apply

    The theme was The Nutcracker. The decor was magical and the afternoon tea was delicious. The staff are exceptional. A wonderful experience.

    The experience was great and staff couldn’t do more to help and make the visit magical, the food was lovely although cakes were extremely sweet, it is very expensive and felt that the service charge should have been included in the overall price rather then adding it on at the end. If you are celebrating a very special occasion I would recommend.

    Atmosphere, decoration and ambience was outstanding. Cocktails were creative and very delicious but rather overpriced Very disappointed in the cakes: mouse was very sharp, cheesecake was tasteless, shortbread was thin and most unlike shortbread I have had ever had before. Could do with changing those. We had a table by the door: very draughty : suggested they could do with blocking the table with a draft excluder around the table. Apart from those comments would definitely give it anither try.
